yeah, they can pull u over because they "suspect" the car is defectable... then if they cant find any obvious defects they can defect u for "suspicion" of modification to your vechicle...

so, i let my dad take my 33 gtr to the shops (harbourtown woolworths) to get a few things for tea... as he was left the carpark, he took off from the lights and hadnt even crossed the intersection an unmarked patrol turned his lights on and pulled him over... str8 away the cop had attitude, didnt even say hello- just said pop the bonnet sir... my dad proceeded to do so but my bay looks completly stock apart from oil filter relocation. he then shut the bonnet and went str8 for the lil dash compartment on the right hand side where he found the turbo timer which doesnt work but still defected my dad for.... didnt mention the coil overs, tint, 3.5 exhaust, height but its regency anyway for that 1 piss weak thing... my dad also asked sooooooo y did u pull me over- his response was "hoons drive these cars, we need them off the road"!!! my dad replied with im 53 yrs old, look at my driving record- the car is in his name for insurance reasons cop was pop and thought he knew everything- WATEVER anyway, should b off this fri with a few things changed over... just qwatch out around the west beach area atm

hmmmmm interesting... guess its only a 40hp difference with the new 6766 out with the claimed 35hp increase wat would u estimate spool difference be between the 6765 and your 7175? i much rather 1000prm better response than 50 odd hp

26_s13.... just give up mate, u and i know wat these can do, and at the end of the day each to there own- a lil friendly competion never hurt just a question to ZEBRA... wat turbo do u currently run... the only way i feel u would b convinced is to have some1 lend u there pt xxxx and try for urself.... once again bout on the topic of not enough data to support these "claimed" figures go on some of the american sites, u say the usa dynos read a lil high but the graphs dont lie bout how they come on boost etc- pretty much 75% of us drag cars run PT now i love this rivalry, lets just keep it friendly and not read into each others posts to much... cheers jake

i know this, supra forums vids n youtube r my best friend lol they even do it in fullweight cars, 28x9 or 10.5 slick "with" IRS and H-pattern stock 6 speed box alot of them were running the garrett gt47-88 but not alot are leaning towards the precision 7175 and 80mm range turbos and thanks pj, were i get htis 6766 bolted up ill let the figures speak for themselves, i dont see why it wont make 700whp on conservative boost and e85

i think thats a lil exadurated... if this was true they wouldnt b running 140-150 mph, yes they r manual but they r also weighty... we could argue bout this for days, but there strip times back up the dyno figures... so many haters of the pt range out there

these results impress me alot, and as u said aload of crap but running big boost to see power.. i think it just comes down to some peoples tune or set up being wrong for those who arnt making the power... these results also back up all the power figues the guys make in there supras on supraforums.com, if u get a chance and sign up on that site and go to the dyno tuning section theres so much interesting reading on pt 6265-6266, 6567 and 6566 and 7175 on both pump and e85, most of there supras are making 700-900 rwhp with 67mm turbos- INCREDIBLE get on board

how do u think i feel, modded gtr on my l's..... touch wood i havent been looked at yet, i dont drive it at night, only to n from work in peak hr which is only from town to henley, my dad occasionally drives at nite but hes 53 and the car is in his name which helps the laws wont apply to me because im over 25 years of age- FTW

bigmikespec, just want some advice from an expert.. wat are the pros n con of having and not having the surge cover for "my" application on this turbo? i want to run about 25-30 psi on the street on e85 and keep winding it up for race til it tapers off the power/boost curve... cheers

im ordering 1 monday... built tomei 2.8, 288 jun cams, 2000cc id injectors... powertune twin 044 in tank setup... wil b interesting, hope to have running by xmas or just afta... do u think ported "hp" cover would make much difference over the non ported "h" cover? cheers
