  1. Some more info i have found from some forums about this turbo( This is on a evo 2l though): "Hi guys-- Here's my take on the ATP 3071, fwiw. It does indeed spool up just like the 3037 (also .63)/custom tubular manifold set up I had on our One Lap car. However, it does this with a *stock cat* and not the test pipe that I run. All things equal, I suspect it to have 700-8000rpm spool up advantage to the GT3037 which is really quite good. Also, on our dyno, boost lag tends to be exaggerated due to the way the engine loads up. Well, not really exaggerated... but it comes close to representing the boost lag you feel on the street when you load it up in 3rd gear. If tested with a much slower ramp-up rate (simulating the first 5 or so seconds of a Dynojet pull where the big rollers are slowly getting up to speed), boost response with drop by another 400-600rpm which is where I suspect ATP is getting their sloop up claims. As such, their claim is perfectly valid and the difference in spool up that we are seeing is based mostly on differences in testing methods. Nothing to create a controversy about, IMHO To give you an idea of how different loads and different gears can effect spool up, look at this: In 4th gear, lugging from a low RPM, the big GT35 on my car can reach 20psi by 4500rpm. In 3rd, it takes until just under 5000rpm. In 2nd, it takes until past 5500rpm. So spool up numbers, by themselves, don't explain the whole picture-- especially when dealing with bigger turbos."
  2. evo8 figures look a bit better and makes more sense. Still very confused however on a car making more rear wheel power then factory stated engine power (SRT-4)
  3. I was looking at GT3071R turbo and thought wow this looks good. I had a look at the website with the dyno info but found something a little strange: "The dyno data: Stock Dyno on a typical SRT-4 is 225 HP @ the wheels" I then had a look at the stock specs for this car on dodge.com and it was 230 horsepower. I have never seen a car loose only 5HP through the drivetrain. So i'm not quite sure what this dyno is doing but i think it would be safe to assume you would tax another 25-30% off to get Australian rear wheel power. So the 284rwkw that came on lighting fast would only be 215rwkw or so that comes on lighting fast Please correct me if i'm wrong in my observations
  4. $250 for 17/245s semi's is damn cheap Ill drop the price to $630 firm if thats the case, but i wasnt aware of them being anywhere near that cheap. I might ring to verify this tomorrow
  5. Not 100% sure but cant see why they wouldnt be, they have tyre wear indicators and would be fine in the wet. I have seen them listed as a R-rated tyre on the wrx club for competition use.
  6. Falken Azenis RX-04(RS-VII) Semi slicks 245/45ZR17 x 4 tyres. All tyres have done no more then 200km and are in great condition, see pictures for verification. Would love to keep them but car is going off the road for longer then expected and i need some extra cash. These are a very sticky "semi-slick" tyre. Falken website information here: http://www.falken.co.jp/tirecatalog/race/index.html More pictures here: http://www.dntinternet.com/photos/tyres Would prefer Sydney buyer and chasing $630 for all four! PM or email [email protected] **edit changed price.
  7. Should be a direct fit for a RB26 or RB20. Only thing with the rb20 may be the impedance. You will need a new fuel rail for the rb25 and a resistor pack if still using the stock ECU.
  8. These are unused as new x6 NipponDenso 550cc low impedance injectors (A bit of grease and a few little scratches). Part NO: 195500-1370. With O Rings and electrical harness. Looking at $600 ono
  9. Pm if u wanna know the car. The compressor housing was changed becase a friend had the same housing but polished and wanted to swap. So the housing is not brand new, but the rest is , internals and exhaust housing have never even seen a car.
  10. Not 100% if its a direct bolt on , the flange would be fine, just the other bits, but either way wouldnt be much work i dont think. Well this is bigger then the r33 turbo and can run 25pound boost. Would be looking at around 400-450hp at the wheels with supporting mods.
  11. This is a brand new Trust TD06 20G actuated turbine. Everything is brand new with the exception of the compressor housing, which is polished and in fairly good condition. It has a t3 flange. Selling because will require to much work to get on my car and i want a bigger turbo in the future anyway. Looking at $1450 firm as its brand spanking new.
  12. U would need a GPS based tracking system in that case, Brant does this but would cost just under 2k. Maybe you can find another similar but i doubt it would be cheap. If the tracking system was found out of the car then im thinking the guy had to much time with the car, the tracking system main purpose is to alert someone that it is being stolen/broken into, so you can take action agaist this.
  13. Boomerang is ok if you in range, for that price you might as well get a tracking system for a bit more at least you will get a call on your mobile and if its gone have some tracking ability. Otherwise just get a good 3 point imboliser that is installed properly
  14. I saw a 200sx once that appeared to be stock, had stock exhaust. But after talking to the owner he actually had a bigger dump pipe, and intercooler. Not 100% why he kept the standard very restrictive exhaust but it still went very hard.
  15. FOR SALE: Super AFR (Air Fuel Ratio Regulator) As new unused, but box has been opened. The HKS Super AFR, with its built in CPU, illuminated digital display and face mounted controls, is a simple to use fuel computer that offers many advanced features and tuning functions that were once exclusive to full engine management systems quote from a site i read: "*This unit is similar to the Apexi SAFC in tuning ability, but much better. *The HKS AFR has 11 points of adjustment, the Apexi SAFC has 8 *The AFR has 6 more points of adjustment from 650~2000rpm's for idle correction, the SAFC does not have this *The AFR has a Response Adjustment, the SAFC does not. *The AFR's 11 adjustment points can be as close together as 50rpm's, the SAFC's 8 adjustment points are fixed & can not be changed *The AFR has EIDS which correct the Air/Fuel signal so your car doesn't stall or go rich when your Blow Off Valve releases, the SAFC does not have this" Website info Click Here Reason for selling is i will need full engine management for my plans. BD4s price on website is $990, best price in USA ive seen is $554AU not inc shipping/taxes So im looking for $400 (Im in Sydney)
