  2. is the factory bov recirculating still if not that will be your problem because factory bov spring to weak and leaks pressure when run to atmo

Sumps are interchangable with a fair bit of modifying either sump can be used 4wd or rwd sumps both require modifications to work in this application have done quite a fair few of these if you need one modded up with nice tig welding bit of sand blasting and power coating give me a call can also just cut and shut if you need. cheers Glenn LAGPERFORMANCE 0450 728 189

  9. what can i say!!! why are you driving any rb when its cold??? let it warm up to at least the first line if not halfway by the sounds of things a blown headgasket or warped head is the way your going show your animal some respect turn it over a little build up some oil pressure fire it up give it a little flutter between 1 and 2 let it settle to a nice idle 10 mins later drive it. all rbs run like dogs when they are cold actually most engines are not designed to be thrashed send me pm when you need new engine. cheers lagperformance
  10. rb20det is a non interference engine all the other rbs 20de 25 26 30 etc are inteference engines so you should get away with putting a new belt on dialling the timing settings back in nothing too hard if its bent valves you will have to pull it down but i doubt it
  11. compression test see if you have even pressure across all 6 cylinders within 10 percent of each other if not its most likely an internal problem eg rings valves headgasket etc failing that i would say turbo leaking oil out over the seals pull the intercooler piping off look for oil pull the dump pipe off look for oil when my 25 turbo went it smoked just like a burnout white thick and filled the streets doesnt mean to say your turbo sweet might just not be screwed completely yet!!!
  12. up for grabs is a rb20det engine which has been modified to make some power and look stealth az!!! the following specifications/modifications - cambelt, waterpump, idler, tensioner and thermostat replaced by nissan at 95ks just under 30ks ago it has 125xxxks on engine - new exhaust gasket - new exhaust studs - new intake manifold gasket - rocker covers sprayed in stealth black along with intake manifold - rollin imports gold coast highmount stainless manifold sprayed in stealth black high temp paint has two bolt wastegate flange good quality thicker than majority of the cheap chinese crap found on ebay sprayed for extra protection against cracking and looks awesome. - new braided turbo oil feed line dash 4 fittings suited to journal bearing turbo easy to change over if you decide on something of the ballbearing variety - cut and tack welded water feed lines to eliminate water going through turbo and reduce the risk of head or head gasket problems if it ever gets hot (safe guard) - fitted with gtr 440cc yellow top feed injectors excellent condition - new oil filter - rocker covers, thermostat housing, intake manifold, exhaust manifold and plenum waterlines freshly sealed with high temp red rtv not cheap sealant good quality!!!! I brought this engine from an importer in brisbane with genuine nissan service tags in good running and boring standard condition with only 125ks on it was going to use for a drifter engine all the above work has been done by myself pulled it all down checked it out very sweet engine will make someone very happy only selling due to building 2 x rb24 engines and modifying a rb25 atm!!!! been working on rb's for around 7 years I know what i'm doing and warranty all my work the following parts will be needed to finish this mild/wild drift engine; 1/ any t3 flanged turbo+dump pipe and custom longer oil drain line (nothing too hard) 2/ fresh oil and spark plugs 3/ coilpacks or wastespark setup and ignitor module 4/ two bolt external wastegate 5/ alternator and vbelt 6/ ballast resistor pack for injectors high impedence to low impedence these injectors can be run off the factory ecu with a remap 7/ airflow meter 8/ flywheel ( i have one and may chuck it in for the right deal) will put pictures up over the weekend the following I will be interested in swapping for and/or cash either way - s13,s14,s15 nissan silvia rolling shell prefer manual but will take an auto - r32, r33,r34 nissan skyline rolling shell prefer manual (no r31 don't like em) - a31 nissan cefiro or c33 nissan laurel - vl commodore manual only - mazda rx anything rolling shell (keep the missus happy) - anything else i missed out that a rb will bolt in without too much work cash is also a great currency i like that too really don't wanna set a price because it owes me quite a bit and would prefer to forget and move onto my other engines throw some offers at me people!!!! I was going to throw a standard turbo on but i figure if i do everything it won't really be your engine choose your own turbo/wastegate setup based on your taste/requirements or supply them and I will fit free of charge to the manifold for you.

  14. couple things could be causing your problem 1/ try to tighten the spring on the blow off valve might be too loose and leaking at idle causing stalling 2/ throttle position sensor is sitting in the wrong position if you rev it in neutral let the throttle drop and it dies could be a good chance its not set up properly 3/ air flow meter clean and check 4/ a fuel leak at the injectors or metal fuel filter anywhere along the line can cause stalling and idle issues 5/ your engine should idle around 800rpm adjustments to the ecu idle control the aac (idle valve) located on plenum and throttle position sensor need to be made correctly if ones out they are all out. these would be your main causes of stalling

  16. just got in complete rb20det turbo engine has 126ks had 100k service done at 95k by nissan japan very good condition sell/swap doesnt have coilpacks ignitor or loom good replacement can come fitted with rb26 injectors also call text pm or post 0450 728 189
