Pretty sure they go over the whole car, one of my mates had it done with his 32, the car had no compliance plate, and a heap of rust in the boot. But he got through. Unless its a dodgy heap of shit you'll be fine. Dunno about the rego, sorry mate.

in my VT i have a cracked exhaust manifold that made a sucking noise, on idle, but when the motor heated up it stopped :s. got it fixed for $60

thanks, the car that i;m looking at has a 3'' exhaust, which i think is too big for a 2,5l n.a motor. will that be affecting the performance? cos some people say it does, some say it doesnt.
