  1. RS Four S Vs. Caldina GT Vs. Legnum VR4 Pro's & Con's of owning a Legnum: Handles like a mo fo with AWD matched with Active Yaw Control - really doesn't feel like you driving a Wagon at all sweeping through the twisties Engine is a 6A13TT - 2.5ltr Twin Turbo V6 - (191kw Series 1 Auto's, 206kw Series 2) Power delivery is pretty freaking sweet, smooth but strong, pulls off the line hard even in stock form - Mitsubishi claim 0-100 in 6.6 secs stock (mine's a little quicker now :-) Tip-tronic Auto kicks ass even for those who aren't fond of em - holds gears super dupa freaky well, Manuals even more kick ass fun Well I done my full major 100k service, including parts & labour - cost me approx $1600 which I thought was pretty awsome (far better than Subi's $3500) Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I feel the Leg is a direct competitor to the Stag & Hideous Caldina :-)
  2. Cool Bananas - Still haven't made my mind up yet - Will be thinking long & hard on this one... Is it just me?? seems when your about to sell/trade your car, they seem to run soo beautifully (like the Car is trying to convince you to keep em) kinda reiminds me of Bumble Bee from Transformers haha! Thanks for all the insight peeps - I'll continue my research on the Stags
  3. Only OZVR4 has been canned - ClubVR4 is still a prominent Legnum/Galant website that provides a plethora of info (worldwide too) True indeed that it will essentially come down to my limitations dollar wise as the temptation would be far too great to resist on the RB25 Small mechanical issue with it though - has a dodgy 5th gear that apparently makes a "rasping" sound once changed & sometimes "snicks" when changing... Any ideas? Here's a quick pic of my Leg - Yes I could have done the whole Check out my ride thing but seeing it won't be in my possession for too much longer.. You have to admit, it's pretty sexual *nudge nudge*
  4. Test drive one I must! I've driven a Series 2 Skyline (manual) bock stock & liked the engine but with an additional couple hundred kilo's I'm not too sure I'll be inspired First on would go Boost controller + Larger Intercooler, injectors, bigger turbo's, nice manifold, New EMS argh the list could go for days! Yeah that's the definate upside - plethora of aftermarket parts I really do like my Legnum but Auto combined with my inability to keep cars for too long it looks like it could be a nice change Thanks guys I do appreciate all your input
  5. Haven't driven it yet - (it's 1900klms from me) Only performance modifications it has are Lightened Flywheel, HD Clutch, 3inch exhaust & BOV... I don't really want to go backwards from the Legnum as they're pretty quick (mine has full exhaust with custom dumps & MBC) keeps up with my friends VE SS (300kw)... But the Stag is manual hmmmm...
  6. Hi guys & ladies, I'll get striaght to the punch... I'm currently piloting a 1997 VR4 Legnum Type S (Auto), & have been offered a trade for a 1997 RS4 Stagea (Converted to Manual - R32 GTR Box) I would like your opinions (unbiased please just cause I drive a Mitsu don't player hate) as to if this would be viable - I know ultimately It's my decision but seeing that you peeps have a heads up with the knowledge of the Mighty Stag, I feel it would be advantegeous having your input Thanks in advance Looking forward to leaning another facet of the Automotive world
