ohhh 5hiv just be careful where the tolerances may change due to heat or the thickness of the paint specially on the injector seals. It would suck to see them pissing through that part.

Today i adjusted my hand brake and checked the brake pads on the rear and while i was doing that noticed that one of the bolt in the driveshaft i missing so fixed that and checked all the other bolts at the same time

Did you have to heat it to soften the glue so you could open it up?
Yea i heat it up with a heat gun took so long
tomorrow i will glue it up and put it together

I ended up going and getting a second hand one today from Ben at Import Parts Canberra. Should have asked if he had another one for you but completely forgot sorry. They have quite a few rb's lying around so maybe shoot em a message on facetube

Yup! Just about everytime you drove past, I was tinkering with something.
One of my light was off so i tried to adjust it but turned to much and it came off the bolt inside which adjusts the light up and down
I had to open my light and put this little plastic thing that acts like a nut inside

Wired in z32 AFM harness. All set for the tune now!! So keen!!!

I got motivated enough to do a Green Waste Run.
This is one reason why we SkyWagon. (excuse the MDF Dust on the phone lense pic)
Then played cars again starting with vacuuming out the Green Waste mess.
Been meaning to Remove the Towbar cooz don't need it, so I did that.
In the process, I had to remove the Muffler and finally Heard the RB growl within for the first time.
Gave me a tingle so I did a Muffler off / Muffler on Comparison. (I know which one I like)
Cut and Shaped some Perspex to add to my previous Clear indicator efforts.
(Perspex over Fluro Diffuser with orange Bulbs)
and did some dodgy No No Paint Touchups on a few chips.
So thats what you were busying doing in the garage this weekend

And when your window is open, at low speed when it starts to come on boost it sounds like a natro, everytime a valve opens you can hear it, just.

I also thought of that the sound is coming from inside due to the tin metal because when i put my hand on the intake the sound goes away
Anyways i will do the carb cleaner check this weekend and see how it goes.

Hey guys i have installed a plazmaman intake onto my R33 Rb25det and it make a noise. thought it was leaking so i used 3 type of gaskets, Stock rubber, Plazmaman gasket and the cosmetic one but its still the same
When i put my hand on the intake plenum the noise goes away.
here is a video of what i mean any one who has a plazmaman intake on their Rb25det can you please help me out, or is it meant to be like that.

So I bought another skyline and I need to sell bits off it to recover some money. I will post up what I can spare but if you are after anything, ask as it might be spare.
R32 Radiator - $120
RB20 Coil packs - $100
GKtech hicas lock bar - $90
R33 knuckle with hubs - $70 each
R32/S13 Rear Coilovers (Tein???) - $180
I will also be breaking down a RB20DET once it's out, most likely be separating in pieces such as:
- Long motor
- Inlet manifold with injectors
- Turbo and exhaust manifold
- CAS
- Coilpacks

Replaced my intake gasket from plazmaman gasket to the stock rubber one as i think its leaking and now i gave up on it.
If any of you guys are running plazmaman intake on your R33 and could help me out.
Installed a plazmaman intake onto my R33 (Rb25det) and i think its leaking. It makes a noise while idling and when i put my hand on the intake the noise goes away. I had a plazmaman gasket in there and i changed the gasket back to the stock rubber one and now i have no idea why its doing this, or is it normal as i also have a 66mm throttle body.
Any help will be good
