  1. Isnt the one on the cat a temp sensor ? or is that a oxygen sensor as well ??
  2. Hi guys, I recently purchased an Autometer WIDEBAND air fuel ratio gauge for my R33 GTS25T series 2 and I want to know what would be the best way to set it up. Should I leave the factory oxygen sensor for the factory ecu, drill the dump pipe and weld on the bung for the wide band oxygen sensor that came with the gauge, install and run that sensor seperately for the gauge, OR just remove the factory oxygen sensor, fit the wide band oxygen sensor in its place and hook up the signal wire from the back of the gauge straight into the ecu ? The only problem with that is, the factory oxygen has an output of 0-1 volt whereas the gauge's signal wire has an output range of 0-4 volts..... is there any way of running the ecu off the gauge's signal wire OR would I have to run two seperate oxygen sensors - the factory unit for the ecu and wide band unit for the gauge ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
  3. lol I didnt even know there's a light in the boot ! hahaha....I'll have to go check.
  4. 2 grand... hmmmm I'd say some nice DBA4000 slotted rotors for the front, new pads all round, a decent boost controller, Spitfire coils and some Idrium sparkplugs. Boost it up to 10psi, the brakes will save you and the engine will thank you for the coils and plugs. By the way... Why on earth would u wanna lean up the afr ????? You want it to run slightly rich to protect the engine ! As with the rims, I picked up a set of Konig Netz in 19s with good tyres for $1000 off Ebay, no gutter rash nothing....perfect, looks about 6 months old, considering these things are worth about $2500 - $3000 a set new and another $1000+ for tyres, I think Id scored a bargain... My point is, if you look hard enough and have the patience, there are bargains out there to be had.
  5. I run an Autometer 5 inch Tach from their Cobalt range and she is 100% spot-on compared with the Nissan ecu consult output plugged into my laptop. Besides, all the big-time drag, speed boat, stock car teams use this brand, so I couldnt imagine them trusting their big dollar engines with Autometer if theyre not accurate. Hope that helped.
  6. Hi, I recently purchased an AUTOMETER WIDEBAND AIR-FUEL RATIO GAUGE for my series 2 R33 GTS25T, The air-fuel ratio gauge comes with its own oxygen sensor and bung. Now I was wondering if anybody can give me ideas as to what would be the best way to set this up. Should I leave the existing factory oxygen sensor (on the dump pipe of the turbo) to run the factory ECU and (drill a new hole and weld in the bung) install the Autometer oxygen sensor for the wide band unit next to it just to drive the gauge..... OR would it be possible to remove the factory oxygen sensor, install the Autometer oxygen sensor in its place and hook up the signal output wire from the gauge into the ECU directly ? The only problem is, the factory oxygen sensor generates an output between 0 - 1 volt whereas the signal wire on the back of the Autometer wideband air-fuel ratio gauge gives a 0 - 4 volts output range.... This might be a long shot but any of you guys have experience with this ?? Is there anyway to make it all work together or would I really have to settle with two oxygen sensors sticking out of my dump pipe ? Unless the signal output wire on the back of the gauge is designed for an aftermarket ECU such as a Haltech or Motec ? Thanks in advance.
  7. The part numbers are American but let me assure you these filters WILL fit any RB engine 110%. Im running these filters in the old school RB30ET in my daily driven VL Commodore as well as the RB25DET in my R33 Skyline.
  8. By 'series 3', do u mean the 40th annv model ? I thought they had the same motor as the series 2 so a series 2 ECU would work, Im sure the Neo didnt come out until the R34.....
  9. $300 for anybody thats willing to pick them up today from near Blacktown.
  10. I should have the box somewhere, they are brand new never been on a car and have never been fired. I will throw in the mounting cage which I polished to a chrome finish. Call me 0434 433 954 if you want them.
  11. Hi, I have a set of brand new Spitfire coils for a series 2 R33 GTS25T (1997-1999) for sale. They have never been on a car, brand new. I brought them thinking my coils were the cause of a misfire problem, but it turned out to be the plugs not gapped properly. I paid $580, asking $380 ONO (Make me an offer !) contact 0434 433 954 Will post but prefer cash on pickup in Sydney's west, I can arrange to meet somewhere. Thanks.
  12. Hi, I have a brand new BUDDYCLUB SPEC 2 Racing exhaust system (cat-back) for a R33 Skyline for sale, it's made of light weight polished stainless steel, it's of a straight-thru design but it DOES come with a removable silencer/muffler for the tail pipe to tone it down for the street, the tail pipe sit in a slant position and looks like a long bazooka. This exhaust is BRAND NEW and still in the original box, it has NEVER been on a car. I brought it about 18 months ago but a change of plans so I no longer have a need for it. I paid $800 for it and I just want some money back so I'm asking less than half of what I paid - $380 ONO (Make me an offer !). Pick up is in Sydney's west but can arrange to meet somewhere. Please call 0434 433 954
