Get that excavator turbo high flowed. We can then dig our way to Japan in no time .
-
Definitely lots of progresses lately. Can't wait to get my PU .82 high flow upgraded to VNT.
-
Its also a car that has pon cams, cam gears and 28psi of peek boost. without the extra mods and ponding I think it is comparable with HG's normal SS2 turbo. While the vnt SS2 is 10psi ahead reaching peek 22psi by 3500rpms, the difference in peek power between the two is 7kws while the pon cams and extra boost should make enough power to cover the differences between the variance in the dynos. I'm looking forward to reliable VNT turbos, wondering if Chequered tuning has any HTA results for comparison.
-
Its appears that all the caste wheeled turbochargers are all in one boat, and all the billet turbochargers are in another boat with marginal differences between any of them.
That VNT turbocharger hypergear made is probably the only turbo that is different. Might be worth while waiting and get that.
-
For that power range get Hypergear's ss2 version of T67.
Better response and more power.
-
the worst at any ones guess would be making no extra power but not roller back power. Hyperdrive is also on dyna pack dyno there shouldn't be much of a difference compare to Garage 101. At 4psi less its probably be sitting sub 280hp. The turbo is still the same turbo nothing has been changed apart from cam gear adjustment and tune. I would be taking it back to the tune whom made power.

Saw this ad on ebay:
Hypergear G3 turbo.
Standard T25 fitup. My car ran 11.45 @ 121mph with this turbo. What sort of turbo is this? pretty good time and mileage for a SR -
Noob question. Quarter Time stands for taken completing the run. Does the car with higher mileage stands for a faster car after the completion of the track? assume if the run way is 1 full mile instead of quarter mile.
-
I've done 13.3 with lots of wheel spin in 1st and 2nd. that is also using stock manifold internal gate bolton turbo with 286rwkws. Car's on crappy road tyres. Looking at some Kumho KU31 255x17s. Any one know if 265 fits without rolling guards?
-
Mine is just two silicon hoses and a pod. check diy at HG's turbo thread.
-
high flowed turbo
Cheap ebay cooler kit.
650cc injectors
Z32 AFM
Nistune ecu
3inch turbo back exhaust (Kakimoto ?)
Split fire coil packs
3inch metal intake pipe
040 fuel pump
Turbosmart Manual boost controller.
and that was it. Unfortunately ID 1000 wasn't available when I got mine. Get ID1000 injectors and run it on E85.
-
How do you work that out? Can be a lot of factors in that. Mine went from 255kw on 98 to 266 on e85 on same boost, same setup. There's a lot of variables including restrictions.
You need some one who knows what they are doing with E85.
-
Thats on right track. I'm making 286rwkws on a high flowed PU turbo. Per HG's thread it is the new g3 turbo in Hatachi compressor housing, it would capable of doing 350rwkws with E86, 6 boost and external gate.
-
Just wanted to let people know- going for 300kw + on e85. Tuner has come back telling me coilpack #5 is arcing out all over the place. Told him to drop in Splitfires STAT.
We were still both impressed they managed 260kw though.
So when the mod bug bites, you'll eventually need them.
260kw on E85 is only about 220ish on 98. Still ended up costing twice for coil packs.
-
SS2 FTW. Mate made 291rwkws last weekend on pump. bolted on to stock manifold int gate.
-
Probably because I had a shuttered turbine wheel. Lol. it had 1/3 of a turbine wheel when it was removed. Na r34gtt drag time.
-
I don't know about 115mph, but 106mph is way low for ~250wkw. Quite an odd pattern forming!
Seems to be pretty normal
I did 13.32 with 112Mph that was stock weighted R34 with a pu high flow 280rwkws on street tyres. Stock turbo run 14.6 with 98mph on 12psi with 200rwkws

Hypergear's looking for a tester for their billet TD05H for a dirt cheap deal. be interested to see their version of TD05 compare to a standard version. seeing their result of billet TD06SL2 and T67 it should be following the same tread.
-
Pretty sure they are all based onE85 runs are on External gate with high mount manifold.
-
Stands for Australian made

Read this. It contain every thing you need to know about "moding" your Rb25 T3 turbo

The search function doesn't seems to be working 100% either, its returning lot less results.
-
Was that an kando item or the new hypergear's billet T67? would be interesting to see differences between the two.

Excellent result. This should be posted on NS for the CA SR Fan boys.
