  1. Just got badged, could some one tell me where i can get a rear GTR badge for a r33 & how much?

    You're in Sydney, go to UAS.

    My mates had his V-spec badged twice!!! Both times they have got them to Tassie in about a week!!!

    BTW I'd check all the guys running GTR badge's on their T's ha! ha! just joking, but it is a pet hate of mine, why would you bother???????

  3. what is it with all you guys saying "lets see gtrs racing in touring cars"....where have you been, just on this forum theres a team in touring cars with 2 GTRS and a silvia :P

    But, on topic, isn't it great to see tubros in the Aussie mainstream again? Its been a bloody long time since the VL tubro.

    Sooooo! you're tellen me that there are 2 GTR's and a Silvia running in group A this year against skaifie etc.....??????

  5. i am wrong just as we all can be. i am very analytical and philosophical. but not constantly. i'd strangle myself to death were i that way!  

    i'm actually not pretentious but very blunt and what-you-see-is-what-you-get. someone pretentious is the type that uses the skyline to get women because they are really a pathetic shallow f#$CK inside.  

    if you have something to add, then go ahead. you did. and that is great. i've spent this topic, actually. this thread did strike a nerve with me, so i went all out. typically, i don't go this far into topics on chat forums. if you have really read the posts, then you will see that i have been on topic the whole time, revealing deeper ideas instead of replying in the boilerplate-standard, expected way as, perhaps, you like better.

  6. Hey everyone,

    My car is about to get some major work done on it (*fingers crossed) and should be doing about 300rwhp after finished. I've heard rumours that the auto trans can only cope with 300 - 350 rwhp ..... any idea of prolonging the life and helping the auto trans cope with extra horsepower (other than getting a manual conversion :D)

    Any ideas ... tried n tested theories etc would be appreciated.

    The main thing is not to red line when changing up all the time, if you drive hard allot. If you do this allot you will stretch all the bands and stuff your clutch packs.

    If you have been driving an auto for a while you'll know and feel when you're about to change up, just back off a little then come back on the gas.

    All this said, if you are going to continue modding your ride, then be prepared for it to let go. I learned this the hard way. If you're gonna go for more kw's after this I'd get it serviced and maybe get your torque converter cleaned. It's pricey but better safe than sorry.

    Yeah, and a tranmission cooler is a must as Steve said.

  8. I really don't know what the big deal is with the 400R, or any factory "special" car like it. To keep its value, you would have to leave it unmodified. So you pay a fortune to buy it in the first place, but then have guys who have spent far less money doing up a normal GTR run circles around you with beefed up engines and tweaked suspension.

    The only advantage it has is if you could somehow enter it into a factory racing event, but even then I would think the choice of races were limited in Australia.

    Don't get me wrong, the 400R *is* a nice car and I would not turn it down if someone gave me one, but I wouldn't think someone is a god just because he owned one. To me it's more of an entrepreneur's car rather than an enthusiast's one.

    For that kind $ imagine what you could do with a V-spec, you could customise it any way you like!!!!!

    I'm getting some repairs done at the moment, I had an arguement with a fence, ask Damo about it.

    Should be ready in a a couple of weeks, I've got Damo's number I'll buz him and we'll organise it.

    I spoke to Damo a few weeks ago he took me for a spin and said he thinking about buying a GTR, personaly I'd keep working on the Zed.

    I spilt a 500ml bottle of milk in my car on the back seat, the damn lid came off when I was driving and I didn't notice.  It pretty much all soaked through I could only get the little bit that was sitting as a puddle at the bottom....

    What should I do it hasn't stained but I am scared to get in my car tonight because will it smell like curdled milk??

  13. No can't remeber that. I only had the car from half way through feb last uear, that might of been the other owner. Did u buy ur zed of the bloke with the r33 gtr. If u did i know the car it has standard wheels on it.Yeah my mates got jet zx (had heaps of drags with him in the skyline) and another mate has a pretty standard one with a set of 18 and whitey did 3" dump pipes on it

  14. As far  as I kNow it hade forged pistons (apparently) nismo injectors remaped computer os giken twin plate clucth Not sure what fuel pump use to run but it made a lot of noise. TD06 20g turbo and trust external wastegate blitz front mount intercooler and the usual exhaust and filter mods.  Which Zed do u own????  A couple of my mates own zeds.

    Kewl, it's done well on those mods.

    My Zed-black, 2000 front bar, F40 wing. Prety sure a friend and I tried raz you up one night in Hobart. He was driving a black 33 V-spec (still standard at that time) and I was in the Zed, remember? bout a year ago!

  15. I use to own the white skyline with gold wheels and carbon bonnent that is now in launny. I'd like the see the dyno sheet for it. It made 242kw at wheels with only 12psi so it could make close to 300 with more boost. The car doesn't get the power to the ground though.

    What mods did the car have when you owned it? I am interested in know how the car is set up, eg... computer, injectors + pump etc..

  16. It is true, he got it dyno'd at red racing not long ago. 298rwkw. spent ALOT of dosh on it since it was bought.

  17. I still aint buying it till I see a dyno run. He raced my mate in his GTR when it was still stock and a ****ed clutch. He only won by a bee's dick.

    I drive a fairly modded TT Zed that is pretty well known down here, and he wouldn't race me.

    So get the boy to dig out the papers. I wanna see this.

    Ummm! 300rwkw :bs!: I'd love to see the dyno papers for dat. I got a good buddy with a 33GTR, 5" trust turbo back, twin apexi pods, apexi power fc Z32 air flowmeter settings, hks adjustible cam gears.

    That bad boy only puts out 260-270@the wheels. No offence bro I think he may be pulling your leg a little.
