The Blue Gum Cafe is always full, considering the 40-50 car turnout the Halfway roadhouse is much more accommodating

That's where they SHOULD stop. But they always pick the burnt out Halfway roadhouse.
Are you from the Hunter Valley too? We've organised a meet up in Singleton as we do the last few years. -
It's definitely worth mentioning that NSW HWP are targeting The Putty Road heavily now; they are hiding in the bushes in full Camouflage fatigues, and using Polair helicopters.
Ya fookin joking ain't ya? First time I've ever heard of that and I live in Singleton at the end of Putty Road. I travel it frequently and rarely see a police car on its entire length to Windsor. [emoji15] -
May I also suggest to the organisers that you use York St from John Street in Singleton. As last year we all went up Hunter Street straight past the police station. Which the boys in blue came out for a look and patrolled around The Royal hotel. There's also no traffic lights at the end of Hunter Street making it absolute chaos trying to get +50 Skylines through town.
If we use York St, it has traffic lights at the end of it to aid in turning left onto New England highway and it's blocks away from the police station.
Either that. Or drive the entire length of John Street and go into the Royal hotel via the back streets.

The bride and I will be there in GTRWGN (Nissan Stagea 260RS).
Any Newcastle/Hunter Valley people are welcome to join us. We will leave Singleton at 10.30am. We will meet behind the shopping centre in Ryan Avenue near the big sundial. The same spot we've met up for this cruise for the last few years.
Hope to see a few of ya's. It'd be great to have a decent convoy to drive down to the Halfway Roadhouse to meet the main mob.
This is always an excellent day out and a great opportunity to drive one of the best damn roads in the state!

Mine tried to kill me many times (steering would 'kick' randomly). I unplugged the computer in the boot. There's still some power going to the system (for the two speed steering, some solenoid somewhere randomly gets a surge of current).
Damn 90's electronics.
I thought of doing this, but my concern was... How do I know that once turned off that the rear wheels will run straight and true??

So 3 times now whilst driving my 260RS in a straight line, my rear steering has made the whole rear of my car "wiggle" within its lane. Even though it happened at low speeds, it's very unnerving.
Car has recently had the entire engine out for a full rebuild, and since then it's towing slightly to the left.
As much I love 4 wheel steering, the fact that the rear steer has done this more than once is making me want to remove the Hicas and install a lock bar.
Does anyone have any idea as to why the hicas would have done this? And how do I fix it WITHOUT installing a lock bar?

I'll get right on to it in the morning old mate. Powertune ran the numbers and said they were N1 turbos. But yeah, I'll endeavour to get a pic as you've requested.needs pic of the ID tag as pictured mate, many N1 turbos out there, some far better than others.....

Pics of camshafts. Camshafts have no markings on them except for what looks to be U6 on one and U8 on the other. There are no other markings on them. They were in the RB26DETT from Japan. Powertune tells me that they are the equivalent of stage 1 camshafts.

2x N1 turbos (10,000km old) in above average condition. $400 each.
2x aftermarket dump pipes. $100 each.
2x Stage 1 camshafts (nice lumpy idle). $100 each.
Only selling due to upgrades.
RB26DETT was happily making +400bhp on 19psi with the above parts fitted.
Located in Newcastle NSW.
Can deliver to Western Sydney this weekend.
Edit: I also have for sale 6 standard RB26DETT pistons, conrods and rings. As well as a standard RB26DETT crankshaft. Make me an offer.

Been a bloody long time since if frequented this fine forum let alone post something! But here goes.
After doing a big end bearing on number 2 cylinder a few months back. I've finally got the car back after a full engine rebuild with Powertune in Sydney.
The car is still on a run in tune, but it goes better than ever (but trust me, it went bloody good before it shit itself...)!
I'll let the attached photo's do the talking from here on in... Gunna be one tough Stagea once it's had its final tune!

Mate. I'm in Singleton an hour in land from Newcastle. I've just spent $30,000 on my engine giving my 260RS a massive upgrade with Powertune in Sydney.
I have GTR N1 - 7 turbos for sale with dump pipes. As well as lumpy cam shafts. Plus a heap of other bits and pieces off the 260RS.
My car was reliably making 415bhp with stock internals for many years before a big end bearing on number 2 cylinder packed it in.
Hit me up if you're interested to pop up to Singleton for a look.
As for Newcastle tuners. Try Black track at the end of the freeway. I rate their work highly. But they are near impossible to get to answer the phone, so just pop in one day and have a yarn to em.

My friend said that forum was good for information on my new car, you will have to excuse me I'm bit for a car noob
I just picked up my RS4 it a great car has plenty of go, faster car I have owned. Ended up getting a nice black one 2001 model, 6 speed manual, twin turbo (apparently rare for this model the dealer said). Also has leather/Alcantara interior upgrade option, full exhaust (sounds really nice). Also has twin front mount intercoolers (apparently upgraded one I was told).
When I work out how to upload pic I'll put some up
I am having truoble finding the 6th gear even though the gear stick says 6 is bottom right it crunchs every time I try to put it in 6th on the freeway. I think I might go back to the dealer tomorrow get them o checkit out
Look forward to your guys helping me mod up my car

Are you sure it's a 6 speed? Sounds like you are trying to put it in reverse!!
