  2. Not sure if i can put a wanted to buy post here but i thought i'd give it a go. As the title says i need the board that the carpet in the boot sits on. cheers,
  3. Well my car does not have an alarm or keyless entry so i use the key to open the door The key is starting to play up and bit so I an looking at getting keyless entry some how. I'm looking to sell the car early next year so i dont want to spend the money for an alarm. I've been told that the cheapest way out would be to get a central locking kit and use the wiring module to for the keyless entry kit. would anyone have wiring diagrams for an R33 S2? Any helpful tutorials you can point me to? Also i noticed when using the central locking button on the drivers panel only the passengers door responds. That not correct, is it? Thanks for any help or comments. cheers,
  4. My cars misfiring, I've changes the plugs and now i'm gonna try the ignitors Before i go and spend hundreds on good ones i want to make sure this is the issue If you have ignitors that you know works, id be interested PM me or email me on [email protected] (will respond to email much quicker) cheers,
  5. replacing synchros is pretty much a rebuild right?
  6. My gearbox was crunching into second, doing a bit of research i found that an oil change helped ppl alot. So i change my oil to castol epx8090, didnt really help. When cold its hard to change into second, as in the gear stick is hard to push in. This is only when cold, with the old oil it was fine. I guessing my box is worn? but is there any additive or even another oil change you can recommend?
  7. djr81 you mentioned something about a clutch draggin? I have a kinda scraping noise (very light but still) when the clutch is out in neutral... bearing or dragging clutch?
  8. This may be a stupid qustion, but this is my first manual car. When shifting into reverse it seems to crunch unless the car in at a stand still. Is this normal? I thought as long as the car is in neutral i can shift into reverse? Thanks
  9. RB180 could you email me please?
  10. I've done a bit of research. It may well be the synchro Any idea how much to fix? is it a big job? Cheers,
  11. I just got my skyline. Dont know too much about them but i noticed my gear box making a bit of crunching/shuddering (not too bad but you can feel it) feel goin into second. Its only when it reved above 3k and if i leave it in neutal for a bit then shift it seems to be fine. Its only when you are shifting up, shifting down is fine Anyway any advice is much appreciated.
  12. So i just got my first skyline It has no remote central locking and no alarm system. While i'm at it, i'd like remote start. I've noticed a huge difference price wise between the main brands (e.g. viper etc) and other no name brands on ebay, but the specs seem to be the same. Has anyone had any experience in the cheaper alarms? I dont need a state of the art alarm but i dont want to have somthing installed that gives up after a few weeks. any thoughts? cheers,
  13. Hey bud, I can PM anyone till I have 10 posts can you email me at [email protected]
