You can watch it on youtube just search crash test G35. I cannot find the crash test for the coupe, only sedan..

given you are experiencing these issues NOW I would strongly suggest instead of talking about it on a forum - FIX IT! when the windows die on these cars they do it WITHOUT WARNING! if that is down then you are really screwed.
all the chatter about resetting them and programs going wrong - totally off target.
these are known mechanical issues on these cars (up to 2006.11) and they should be fixed the first sign of trouble.
if you are having full door issues then I would do ALL 4 items. that way you have a known constant (yes it will kill your wallet.) and piece of mind that it is all new gear (forget sourcing second hand = hand grenade.) and it will last another 5-6 years.
in the past day I have been asked to supply 4 door actutators from 4 different people. I think that says something.
if you want very little hassle from a car and more fun you prbably should have bought a nissan instead of a renault
( I can say that - I own a R32.)
Thanks for that! Should get it fix..
This is a good car, love to drive it. but since i have bought the car, she actually gives me some headaches, such as, window, door, wasting tank leaking, fuel damper fail, break vibration...etc. I get some of them fixed but new problems keep coming up. What can I say? --- I still love it, as long as I still have $$$ in my wallet...
-
You're better off spending the extra $$ and replacing the door-lock solenoids and the window motors/regulators. As Victor said, you don't want to be in a random place with windows down and doors which don't lock . I wouldn't ignore these issues if I were U.
True.. This is just so creepy the car is playing me..haha.
I am more worry about the window issue cause I can always lock the door manually.
Anyway, this is all about $$$.. My wallet goes flat
-
Ok. I just asked because when I bought mine, I took extra options on warranty such as windows issue.
Good luck anyway.
Thanks mate.
Surprise!! The window is back today! I didn't touch anything and it just work again...I can just assume the program screwed up...
HOWEVER, at the same time, the door lock lost its function.. When I use the remote control to lock and quickly unlock, the passenger side door was still lock but the drive side just fine. Same thing happened if you unlock the door and quickly lock again, the passenger side door coundn't lock by itself.. BUT, if you wait, for half an hour or longer then you press unlock (or lock), it work again! What the Hell is this..

If you've got any electrical/audio/suspension etc issues, check that thread before posting, it's quite helpful
Thanks mate... I checked it is roughly $400.. But I only know a deal near where I live, its heaps small and I am doubting they don't have any parts..
-
Common problem. Mine is having it as well, on the driver's side. Yet to get to fixed.
If your window is stuck and you just want get it to shut temporarily, try this: hold your window switch UP, then bum the door from the inside. It should go up. If it still doesn't, just apply more force.
Yer, I heard the 2003 model have some electrical problems..
Do you have any idea how much to fix that?
-
Is the car still under warranty? If so, take it back to your dealer and they should fix it for free as it is mechanical, not electrical.
Good luck.
Thanks a lot mate, but the warranty is nothing, only if your engine blow up...
-
Hey guys
The passenger side window is broken today, it cannot be up or down and when you close the door the auto-up is gone. I can actually hear a click sound came inside the door when I was pressing the button (That means the circuit still work?)... Anyone have this before? Problem with the motor? How much to fix it.... My car is 2003 coupe and now i am soooo pissed..

My v35 comes with two japanese manual but I cannot find anything related to kms...
-
I think it can be turn off on the screen settings menu (Left from TV button if your car is v35..).
-
I think you got the same problem as mine one, the bad fuel damper. open the hood and check the fuel line on left bank, if you feel the pulse that will be the fuel damper problem. I am looking one to fit my car...
-
When I bought my car from dealer they told me nobody can wind back the kms... now I know it is hardly to believe . Nevertheless, the car is awesome, not depends on how many kms. lol. BTW, the rate for $$ seems good to shop from somewhere using $US..Can anyone provide some good sources?
-
So that means you cannot have the real kms on imports?
-
Hey guys
Just a question.. Why all the import cars have such a low kms? I got my 2003 coupe few months ago and it just like 30K kms...People doesn't like to drive in Japan?..
-
you can get a 350gt without luxury options...anyway, 250gt/300gt they all good. I think 300gt have better interior..
-
The point is.. where to buy stuff from? Any good source?
-
Castrol...hows this? I am a noob.
-
Yea mate thats the stuff, but sadly it is different... Its ok I will try to ring the dealer or google some JDM shop. Thanks a lot
-
only thing i know is the part number 22675-AM60A, the full name is Fuel feed hose damper... BTW: you got a nice ride
-
Yea I am in Syd, thanks for sharing the information. I am thinking to buy parts online, it is a bit far to go to the nissan dealer...Anyone bought part online before?
BTW, this fuel damper is same as 350z and maxima i think, so the nissan dealer may have some in stock, i may give macarthur nissan a call to see their price.
-
Hey guys
I am going to buy a fuel damper for my V35, i emailed the guy from riverside infiniti but no response... Any suggestions? Where you usually buy the JDM parts from? Thanks a lot.
-
You can also contact Rick at Riverside Infiniti here:
Thanks for that. I never try to buy part online before, can anyone please tell me how to do? Is that just contact the guy by email and transfer the money to his account then he will sent the part to you? Cheers.
-

the transmission problem occur in gt8s is common but sadly not many parts you can find in australia I think. My friend got a gt8 before and the cvt was gone.. I think he replace it to the normal 5 speed transmission for $3000 or something close to that...can't remember.. Anyway, good luck.
