R33 GTR or R34 GT-T?
tbeffect replied to reignman82's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
you will need to take both for a drive, keep in mind maintenance of the gtr, though im sure you already know this yes eriks 34 looks very nice and if your not used to driving a performance car it will bring a big smile to your face and hopefully not many power poles -

1995 manual it wasn't flawless had to fix a few things, but nothing more expensive than a couple of lap dances -
33 Gtst or 180sx HELP!

Ahh the old 180 vs R33 debate. I was saving/researching for 18 months untill I knew both the s13 and r33 like the back of my hand. I had a budget of 17.5k and decided the 180 was the car for me, based mainly on the fact that performance was my biggest concern. Shopped for another 5 months trying to find the perfect 180 for me. Ended up buying an r33 with fmic, bodykit, safc, ebc, hks super drager low k's etc etc, running low 13's for $14,500 and never looked back. My advice is to just shop around and wait for a good deal, in all the fun of getting our turbo cars we forget about our loans. My 5k loan was hard enough to pay back -
what series do you have and how much boost were you running to kill the motor. and how hard did you drive it ? =) your turbo should die before the motor? unless you don't have afc or computer?

Are you SURE you didn't park inside pick-a-part?. Sounds like it. If you don't tear them a new asshole in court I will be very unhappy.

it's because you don't have a turbo seriously: it could just be getting stuck on something? - mine did the same after i put my aftermarket dials in,they were not flat enough under the needle. you will just need to get the bastard out to see whats up. sorry i can't help more.

for the love of god, do not put that park bench on the back of your car

Some Skyline Drivers are a Disgrace
tbeffect replied to toby19's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
I bought my skyline after just turning 19, it's got a big fmic + bodykit etc so I get the rich boys die young thing over and over, and cops HATE me and my P plates. Truth is I worked very fudging hard to save up for every cent.(so much so I've had to sacrafice insurance). And this is what hurts me when I see another skyline driver being a ****head racing in residential streets/bog laps/2f2f (LIV LIFE OEN QUARTAR MILE AT E TEIM) attitude. It makes me want to shoot them in the face. I really hope LaL is joking about his parents buying him an r33gtr. For the jealousy factor. (( -
