Guys and Gals, Just looking for somewhere to install my new alarm and stereo. Any feedback on places you guys have used/been told to keep away from? I already have both the alarm and stacker so I'm just looking for someone to put them in. Thanks AlexR31

Guys and Girls, I am after a set of 5 stud hubs from a 32 or 33. Looking at converting from 4 to 5 stud and just want to get my hands on a set of hubs to see how difficult it will be (splines, etc). If you have a set tell me what you want for them and tell me where you are. Cheers Alex

My HKS Turbo Timer Type 1 just arrived but all the instructions are in Japanese !!!! All I need to know are where the red,blue, grey and brown wires hook into the loom. I'm guessing that they are for the the speedo, tacho and temp sensors plus one for power. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TT is going into R31 GTS-X Instructions on how to use the thing would be useful also. Thanks Alex

Anyone coming along to this on the 12th October? I'm really keen to jump on a track with something with a bit of power because I have only really driven 4cyl cars on a track. On that note did anyone see that article on TV last night about putting young guys with powerful cars on a race track and seeing whether they could drive or not? I missed it but was keen to have a look. AlexR31

McPhees don't usually do COD unless they have an acoount with the people sending the goods. They also charge based on weight. Startrac will do COD but charge based on size. TNT charge based on size and weight and will do COD. In my experience, I use TNT whenever I can. They have a specialist automotive freight section and have always been very good. You need to decide on the company based on what you are sending as well. For something like a body kit that is pretty big but not that heavy you want someone who charges on weight, but for stuff like engine parts and gearboxes you want someone who charges based on size. Main companies I use are - McPhees - Startrac Express - TNT Automotive I freighted my last car from VIC to the ACT using TNT Auto and they were great. Cost me $260 and that included $50K worth of insurance and no excess. If you can, freight things depot to depot. It will cost you a lot less than getting it sent to your home and you can have a look at the stuff before you pay for it to see if anything has happened during the transit. Alex

Freebaggin, I just spoke to Tim on the phone and he said that the O2 sensor in the exhaust is probably faulty as the car would barely run if it were that lean. Also I can't plug the MT-8 into a laptop, I need to upgrade to an LT series computer. What did yours set you back? I only need the board and chip as I have a complete loom and all sensors at the moment. Thanks for you help

Guys & Girls, I''m trying to find out if anyone knows where I can get my hands on any GTS-R or ex-Gibson Motorsport parts. Specifically looking for engine parts, ie, exhaust manifold, heads, cams, etc. But also wheels, body panels, as well. Also where does everyone buy their projector type headlights from? Can you buy lightweight body panels for R31's? Fibreglass or carbon fibre guards and bonnets, etc. Thanks

Guys & Girls, I need a bit of help with the computer in my R31 GTS-X. It has an ECCS R32 RB20DET with a Microtech MT-8 and a handet and the a/f ratio on the handset is showing about 17-18.5 on 8 - 12 psi (HKS Boost Contr). Does anyone know if I can plug this comp into my laptop and if so where do I get the software? Any ideas on why it is running so lean? The error check on the computer is coming up with an error on the "air" bit but I don't know if this the the O2 sensor or the AFM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks AlexR31

Does everyone know where the carpark is opposite the Convention Centre? My suggestion is that we meet there at about 9ish on Friday night. How does that sound? Slyder can you make that? It will be pretty empty which gives us a fair bit of room for everyone to show up and have a look at each others cars. We can work out where to go from there. What does everyone think?

Drifter, I'm just keen to see what else is getting around at the moment. If there are any other HR31's, what the 32 and 33's are like, etc. My skyline needs a good tune at the moment too so just running std boost until it all gets sorted. Still going well though. No, mods so far go like this. RB20DET (ECCS) from R32 & 5 Spd Microtech MT-8 + Handset Front Mount Intercooler 3.25 exhaust T3/4 hybrid hi-flow HKS Boost Controller It's gun metal grey with a TI grille and bonnet. Needs a decent tune at the moment but is still going like a rocket. Will finally have it registered on Friday. Had to fit child restraint mounting points (old one's were cut out of the parcel shelf to fit 6x9's) I attached a pic. Take a look. Alex
