  1. i've tried to do that, doesn't move forward enough, maybe i need to get a stronger friend to do it for me... thanks for the help, i'll see if i can get it bolt up when i have a day off yeah i live in japan....and this is probably one of the better Skyline forums in English that i can fully understand without using a dictionary and guessing the meaning of kanji characters
  2. long story short i slid on some ice, under steered into a curb. got the car home, inspected the damage, as far as i can see, it looked like i just snapped the tension rod. (this is all on the passenger side btw) replaced the tension rod and the lower control arm...here's my problem the knuckle and the lower control arm don't match up. nothing else looks bent or anything....but the knuckle sits several centimeters back from the mating point. It lines up fine if i remove the upper arm links, but then upper arm links don't line up. any ideas on what i actually bent, i don't want to just go blindly buying parts....could I have messed the knuckle arm or "third link" up or the sub-frame? has anyone snapped a tension rod before? i've bent one on my S13 back in the states and didn't have any problems realigning the parts when i replaced it...but i've never snapped one before. any advice is appreciated thanks in advance
