    Yeah I can see what you are getting at. . . If you went into it though couldn't you say that each gear has its own powerband then? ? ? Or once again am I incorrect???

    Errrr. . . Maybe I have my wires crossed up. What I meant was the optimum combination of rev's and speed to change gears. .. .. Because each car is different...
