  4. THB are a german brand - works real well! I dont want it anymore personally because I cant be arsed putting it in my GTSt. Check their site for some info on current models THB German Website Try calling a general carkit dealer in Sydney and mention that your looking to get an updated cradle for your phone to fit a THB kit - they should point you in the right direction up there. There is no model number on the black box other than 5110/6110 - when I bought it the installer said you can change it to fit a range of phones - not sure if that meant different manufactures to Nokia or just different nokia models? RGS
  5. Al Im quite sure it is the 4x100w RMS - did you find out if Jaycar can shapen their pencil a little more on this? $333 is pretty good.
  6. Gents $333 each is the deal to our door (inc freight) - I hope that Mr Cluk isn't in fact from Advance Audio & Electrical posting as newbie for the sale - oh well I think its a great deal none the less. See email response details from James at Advance Audio & Electrical online below: From : "Advance Audio & Electrical" To : RGS Subject : Re: Purchase Question - Response 4ch 100Watt RMS AMP Sun, 27 Apr 2003 22:04:14 +1000 Reply Reply All Forward Delete Put in Folder...InboxSent MessagesDraftsTrash Can Printer Friendly Version Hey RGS, If you were to purchase 4 of these amps then you could have them for $325 each + $8 postage per amplifier. That's $333 per amplifier delivered to your door by a courier within 4 days of payment and each amplifier carries a 1 year manufacturers warranty and Advance AE will cover any shipping costs relating to the warranty. 7. Full duplex hands free car kit available for sale. Currently Suites 5110 & 6110. According to THB (when I first bought it) the cradle can be changed to suit a range of phones. There is a THB dealership down here in Melbourne (Brighton). The kit can be connected to the stereo mute wire so you can hear it ring if the volume is pumping. All wires, mic, amplifier box, speaker cradle mount etc is provided. Price - $60 plus shipping (approx $9 to anywhere in Oz)
  8. Mate thats an awesone deal that they offer. I know that Al and I are keen - you might be interested in getting a quote from them if we were to get three at once. By the looks of it you can only order on line - there are no contact numbers to discuss issues with them or anything. Have you got stuff from them before? Certainly a very good price!
  9. Very tidy! Im thinking of doing the same (but by hand at this stage - might live to regret taking it apart!). I have same rocker oil sweat seeping between the cam cover and the rest of the block - did you put a new gasket in, use the existing one, or use some kind a gasket-in-a-tube stuff? Did you need to change the oil to do this or just be very careful while having the cover off? Cheers RGS
  10. Gents, I'd love to to hear your thoughts on replacing the timing belt DIY style. Im fairly mechanically inclined and have no major problems about pulling it all apart. My main concern is putting it back together (like most of us I guess) and not stuffing up the timing when its all done! As I understand it the most important thing is to mark the position of everything before I go taking the belt off - Im sure there is a host of other things I should be aware of before starting. Any tips on what brand of belt I should get, the price I should expect to pay (I was thinking around $100-$150??) or where I should get it from (Melb)? Cheers guys RGS Hawthorn PS I did already try searching for this thread somewhere else but with no luck!
  11. Guys, Im looking at buying a half decent 4ch AMP to run just the cabin speakers but like many I'm on a budget. After much research (read - annoying others on the forums) I have decided that the Jaycar Response is fairly good value at $449 however if we can organise to buy FOUR of these at once we can get them for $359 each (SAVE $90 EACH). They seem to have pretty good reviews and comes with a 12 MONTH WARRANTY for peace of mind! Check the link to the Amp's stats at Link - Jaycar's Response 4ch AMP Stats If your in Melbourne and want to organise to get one PM me. We can organise a time to meet up of something along those lines to pick them up.
  12. Will suit stock thread on R33's gear sticks. Much nicer than the blob of plastic that comes stock! U can transfer funds via netbanking upon request - will be in your hot little hand within days. See my ebay profile at (type username clwaters): http://pages.ebay.com.au/services/forum/fe...back-login.html PM me for an image to be emailed - my 2nd rate graphics driver won't crop the image small enough to upload to forum!
  13. Thanks for your tips guys - learning quickly. For $400 odd buck the Jaycar doesnt look too bad - ugly though I guess I coul always sell it on E-bay if it was sh*t and go an upgrade later! Cheers again!
  14. Any thought on these three brands? Looking at buying a 4ch AMP either new or 2nd hand up to ~$400 and want to be sure of making the right choice. The idea is to run all four speakers of this puppy. Eventually a sub will follow. Currently running Sony gear - bad mistake....
  15. Yeah - never been on a cruise before - would like to meet a couple of like minded Skyline nuts (as long as this rain stops!) I live in the Hawthorn area.
  16. Guys just going through the same problem at the moment! If your in Melbourne (Oakleigh, Hawthorn or Melton) you can get them from the friendly guys at Tower Audio on 03 9579 0777. Cost me $28 also.
  17. Anyone looking to sell a set of DECENT speakers for my GTS-t?:burnout:
