  1. Hey guys I recently came upon a new exedy triple plate clutch and need to know what release bearing and sleeve I need to run. Also this if for an RB25det....
  2. Hi is there anyone that makes pod filters that bolts DIRECTLY to the r32 GTR Mafs? I have been searching for hours to find an apex'i replacement filter that will bolt directly to the maf, but I haven't found a conclusive answer. any help would be appreciated
  3. I am bumping this thread up because I seem to have the same problem. My motor is a SII rb25det (without ignitor). I just bought some tomei poncams part# 143050 and the cam angle sensor is different. Is it confirmed that I have to get an r34 cas and that it will work with my motor? -Bluefire
  4. Hi I was wondering if anyone has fitted an HKS fuel rail onto an R33 RB25det with greddy manifold? Are there any modifications necessary? What type of top feed injectors will fit? Also I know sard and greddy make one also, but I like the look of the HKS. And if anybody is wondering this rail is mainly for looks... -Bluefire
  5. Yeah the snout looks like the second one except for the hole... I am guessing that is a short snout crank with a collar fitted? -Bluefire
  6. Yeah the wear mark is about 12mm long... So I am guessing the crank has been changed, since the block is an R32 -Bluefire
  7. Hi I need help identifying the short snout crank. Does the snout actually narrow in thickness as it comes away from the motor? I Measured the rear and front edge of the oil pump portion of the crank and they both came out to about 41mm. If someone can give me some dimensions or even a general way to tell which crank I have that would be very helpful -Bluefire
  8. Ok figured it out already.. Stock R34 turbos... Please feel free to delete this post mods -BLuefire
  9. Alright I need some help identifying some turbos on a R32 GTR. Alright first thing I noticed is that the turbos have HKS Actuators and elbows. I was able to pull off the inlet pipes and noticed that they have nylon wheels just like the SII RB25 turbos. I cannot tell if they are BB and I also cannot check the rear wheel. Also both compressor housings say M24 Garrett AR .53. Also here is what I believe the turbos were tagged with on the center housing. 1st Turbo DD 0220J 14411-AA300 702987-3 2nd Turbo BL 0409J 14411-AA300 T702987-3 Any info will be helpful
  10. Car will still idle with a boost leak. It will just run rough. Also this definitely sounds like a maf problem. Double check your wiring, the maf itself, check to see if the ecu is pulling any codes
  11. Wow I knew there had to be other people with this idea in mind. I also want to add another reason for this maf-map convertor besides the low rpm stall. s14 SR, RB20 and RB25's do not have a d-jetro version of the powerfc. This means if you go with a top mount turbo with 4" inlet, you have to have a super tacky looking 4"-3" adapter to hook up the maf in front of the turbo. This absolutely kills the look of nice top mounted turbo. Another Idea I had was to make a maf sensor and flange that can be installed in the ic piping. Essentially making it a blow-thru maf setup rather than a draw-thru. If nissan freakin made the maf sensor removable from the housing like other manufacturers this would be a very realistic idea. -Bluefire
  12. rear main engine seal.... You need to remove the flywheel to access it -Bluefire
  13. The amount oil coming out will depend on the condition of the motor and the amount of boost your running. As rings wear out they allow more blowby. Raising boost will also create more blowby. for example my RB25 with about 40km with stock boost does not blow out a single drop of oil. Our shop race car s13 sr20 with 1.4 bar boost, blows out about a quart of oil after about 2-3 laps. we had to plumb a drain tube from the bottom of the catchcan to the turbo oil return hose so that we didn't starve the motor of oil. -Bluefire
  14. The nismo type A fpr that you have is only meant to install on the stock rail. If you want to get an aftermarket rail, you will have to go with a universal fpr like sard or malpassi. Besides with the universal fpr like sard, it has the ability to use flare fittings. Then you would use -6 lines and fittings for the fuel lines. The regulator will also need to be mounted somewhere in the engine bay. -Bluefire
  15. Highly interested especially for that price!!! -Bluefire
  16. Well I am in the U.S. so I almost always have to deal with overseas companies. Hmm can anyone point me to a good company that sells c's knock-offs. That driftshop doesn't look up to par. They don't even list an address only an email and phone number -Bluefire
  17. anyone else? Just want to know because I have heard stories of these knockoff shifters actually snapping off at the shift knob -Bluefire
  18. Anyone heard or used a short shifter from drift shop? They are C's and B&M copies http://www.driftshop.com.au/interior.htm -Bluefire

  20. No need to waste gas... just drive it easy until it warms up. The only time i'd consider warming it up would be in extremely cold weather -Bluefire
  21. Hmm I wonder how many undeserving aussies have crashed their skylines :chairshot At least he did it justice by crashing it on the track -Bluefire
  22. yes, look for radiator paint... its much thinner than normal spray paint -Bluefire
  23. Hi I am relocating my oil filter and installing an oil cooler and I was wondering if anyone has heard of a block off plate for the RB25. Instead of running a simple oil filter adapter, I want to run a plate that replaces the entire oil filter bracket and cooler. I need one asap!! Please help me -Bluefire
  24. Well all my engine bay components are powder coated black and graphite. So i'd like some nice glossy black radiator hoses to match. No performance here, just feeding the ricer in me.
  25. Hi I am in the U.S. and I am having a hard time locating some samco radiator hoses for my ECR33. I can source some R33 GTR hoses but i'm unsure if they will work. If not can someone give me the going rate for these hoses and where I can order some?
