or the BN sports
or Bomex
Do-Luck would be nice....but havent seen any round 4 sale (for gts-t) yet
can get most from unique auto sports i think, not the BN sports kit though?
good luck
cheers

See Post No. 25 in this thread. Otherwise, just read the thread. You'll get the idea.
yeah i saw that.....but i believe UAS make a carbon version of there smaller alloy one.....thats what i was enquireing about.
all good
i'll just find out from them

So is this a definate go ahead yet? will SAU-vic be a shining part of MAS sept final?
-
heres the pix of the box.
every side except the bottom (which is just black)
-
are they available in carbon fibre? if so, whats the cost?
-
Great price for the injectors.....would love to say "im in" as i need them, there the only thing left holding me back at the moment.....but wallet says otherwise for a couple more months......doh'
if I was in, would definatly like to know more info about the clips, as i'd be installing them myself too.....how to modify? or how to replace with correct clips....
-
im currently running a bigger in tank bosch pump, with malpassi adj. reg., and stock injectors...(microtech LTX-12 computer)...putting out 224kW @ wheels @ 18psi.......on FULL boost this is just maxing out the injectors on 100% duty cycle. It made 238kW on dyno but was leaning out a bit so i'd rather be safe an wound it back a bit for now.
next on list....Injectors....just wish they wern't so damn expensive for RB25's
anyway, hope this is of some help. I believe the reg sits on round 40pound pressure @ idle

I have a hicas compatably HKB boss kit. got it from autobarn.
says on the box: ON-177
hope that helps...

do you have a pic of where the air/oil seperator was mounted the 33 engine bay?
-
another good car ruined. What the may have thought looked good on photoshop, went horribly wrong....not to mention whoever did it was a bit 'rough' in the process.
-
thumbs up from me Ash. I'm in!!!
-
I have seen that front on an australian site before, cant remember which one though?
and series 1 or 2 wouldnt matter, they'd both fit. only the top of the headlights and bonnets are different.
-
when I first bought my 33 a few years ago it passed through 2 victorian roadworthy's (second one done due to canary, too low. easy fix, adjustable suspension ) with the following mods on it
Pod filter (secured)
strut brace
FMIC
timer
EBC
3 guages
adjustable coilovers (that are super stiff)
2 way mechanical (locker) diff
17" mags 8"wide fronts an 9"wide rears
3" full exhaust system
aftermarket steering wheel
braided brake lines (with no little rubber boot things)
theres probably a few little things i left out....
I know in VIC atmos BOV are COMPLETELY unroadworthy (unless fitted from factory)
programably ECU's are unroadworthy i think that goes for piggy backs too.

surely theres at least 2 more cars out there in SAU VIC that are willing to enter? I've seen plenty of custom paint work, big spoilers, an big stereos around....
be pretty sad not to see the SAU group at MAS!!
-
hehe....yeah...
were all friends here...
ANYWAY:. as 200kW+ in an auto...theres some good suggestions here, apart from the ECU which is still a bit of a grey area, should still pull some good figures. Good luck with it all
-
:headspin: all's good, easy to misinterprate typing sometimes... :headspin:
all's well that ends well
-
oh an sorry to MR R33 GTSt, kinda getting off your topic....
-
4door_Sleeper: I knew there were some around, certainly wound be interesting driving an auto one of these with 200kW.......theres no such thing as "CANT BE DONE"
-
to be honest, havent really researched into it as far as the AUTO bit goes being I have a manual, surely theres a powerFC with the auto option, or a Microtech or the new Wolf 3D?
there are plenty of high powered R33 auto's out there, an I'm sure they cant be running on a stock computer. Send all the ECU manufacturers an email and find out, thats what I'd do.
or start a new thread on R33 AUTO AFTERMARKET ECU'S?
What ECU do you suggest, keeping in mind that it's an auto? -
fuel pump, adjustable fuel regulator, dump pipe, hi-flow cat, bump boost up to 12-14psi (ran my stock turbo on 1bar for round 2 years an still was in good condition when removed for the upgrade), pod filter. all that should get you to 200kW+
as far as unichip, i think its only an option for R32's, havent heard much about them.
-
I'd like to be in.....
CAR: R33 gts-t series 1 (white)
224kw @ rear...(hiflow turbo, ECU, FMIC,zaust...the usual mods)
genuine GTR series 3 front bar with N1 slots & clear indicators all round, 400r sides, veilside rear, twin blade "die**** speed racing" GT wing, carbonfibre GT style mirrors, tinted windows, gun metal grey 2 piece BBS 17" mags.
has big stereo too, but its a quality sound more than looks thing.
might even have a carbon bonnet by sept....depending if i can get my hands on a decent one....top secret style
so you tell me.....am I "wow" enough? :headspin:
if so, i'll organise to have the weekend off.......
if not, i'll jus be a happy spectator
-
Just wondering what sort of Km's people are getting out of there 200+kW R33 gts-t's? and what A/R ratios are at full boost.
my car has 224rwkw@6500rpm on 18psi boost, (can get 238 running 22psi, but no thanks)and even though I never expected great fuel economy.....i thought it would be better than what I'm getting, even just cruising round granny shifting I'm LUCKY to get 300km out of a tank.
car mods (power relevent):
RB25DET....obvioulsy..
Blitz S/S mesh Air pod
Front mount HKS Intercooler
HiFlowed Turbo (steel wheels, larger wheels etc....)
Largest Bosch intank fuel pump available (cant remember number)
Malpassi adjustable fuel reg
standard injectors (just maxing out at full boost)
still standard BOV (seems to work ok...any thoughts?)
HKS Dump pipe
Blitz stainless 3"front pipe
Kakimoto 3" cat back exhaust
and a Microtech LTX-12 with controller running it all
I've heard of cars running greater kW than mine getting better fuel economy than me....so whats evenyone else doing that I'm not? or are most of us in the same boat?
Cheers

what width are the rims? 8" or 9"?or are they different front to back? and what are the offsets?
gtr bar
in General Automotive Discussion
Posted
my gts-t has a genuine series 3 gtr front bar with N1 slots on it.
fits well enough....a little overhang (bout 1cm) at the wheel arch. But my car came with it on from JAP, so I aint complainin.....looks awaome, and has fexabilty, so if i lightly scrape or hit something....just a few cracks in the paint to fix, not fibreglass repair.
an the over hang will be fixed when i get my pumped front guards anyway!!
cheers
