  2. A few things to think about. 1. My car got bumped off ships TWICE before it left Japan. The first time Toyota decided they wanted the space for new cars, and I can guarantee you they get first choice. 2. There is a huge backlog of cars waiting to leave Japan due to the sheer number of 15 yer old cars trying to be imported. 3. Your importer and even his dealer in Japan are at the mercy of the shipping company. While they can book as many places as possible, there is never any guarantee of the vehicle shipping. One day they're told your vehicle is being shipped, the next they're told it's been offloaded. Welcome to the world of freight...!!! Just hang tight and be patient. Importing isn't the most straightforward way to get a car, otherwise everyone would be doing it. But the benefits of a cheaper car to your own specs are definitely worth it. Oh and by the way, once you get it into Australia, the delays just keep on coming........Quarantine, road freight, compliance, roadworthiness, vehicle inspection........ But it is all worth it.....
  3. You need to remove the large pipe from the intercooler to the intake plenum. You will then be able to get your hand/filter wrench in there to get it out. You pull the oil filter out over the alternator to get it out. If it's really tight, drop the alternator out as well for better access. I highly recommend getting a oil filter relocation kit ASAP..........!!!
  4. Braided lines sold Cat sold
  5. I've got an R32 GTR with a twin plate clutch (don't know the brand). It was in storage for about a year in Japan before it got here a month ago. The clutch doesn't slip at all, but when engaging the clutch slowly (like when you're reversing) it squeals quite loudly. Is this signs of a worn out clutch, or could it just be 'glazed' or something and after a bit of use come good? I've only driven it one or twice so far. Any advice would be appreciated.

  16. Can someone help me with some insight into the specifications on a set of Denso injectors for the RB26? The part number is 195500-0610 I think they're 660cc. I need to confirm that the flow rate is 660cc and find out the delay time (msec). Any help would be greatly appreciated...!!
  17. Hi Does anyone have the instructions for the HKS Fan Controller in English? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  18. are they Mines AFMs still available? how many kms have they done? cheers
  19. I know everything about the the standard RB26 can handle about 300rwkw, at which point the injectors max out in duty cycle (closely followed by the afms at about 335rwkws) I'm planning on getting that 300rwkw, but in doing so I want a bit more head room, thus changing the injectors and afms will give me greater margin for the future when changing turbos.
  20. From my understanding, the reason for using a pair of Z32 AFMs on an RB26 is to be able to 'measure' more air flow (through a different calibrated hot wire), not necessarily to reduce the air flow restriction. And that the original 2x 65mm RB26 AFMs can flow 700+ HP physically - even if they can't measure it. Therefore the Nismo AFMs at 65mm dia, given they have a recalibrated hot wire element to be able to measure 700 HP, will pose no more restriction to air flow than the 80mm Z32 versions - up to 700hp. Can someone just confirm what I'm saying, given I'm looking at buying the Nismo AFMs. Cheers all

  22. Can someone advise where the best location for an aftermarket oil cooler core is for an R32 GTR. Companies like Trust make kits whereby the core can be mounted in the LH fender or in front of the radiator. Any advice would be appreciated.
