  1. yeah i am, im shifting at aroung 6800 rpm sometimes its smooth and sometimes it makes that bang sound like back pressure isnt being achieved its alot louder bang with the windows down

  3. ok ill get one tomorrow haha i think my exhaust souns good lol its an auto so it cannot be clutch im pretty sure its back pressure related but its on and off with the kadoom problem so its hard to film
  4. hi guys ive uploaded a video of my exhaust problem which i have tired to explain many times before so ive uploaded a video the speed limit is 80 so dont worry about speeding. just wondering it its back pressure related or something is wrong as it sometimes does that ka doom sound after each gear change which actually slows the car down where when it doesnt do that like the first shift from 1st to second it kinda propells the car forward its weird exhaust set up is stock headers, high flow cat,2.5" exhausr no mufflers with a cannon and a resonator in the middle car is a non turbo r34 gt here is the link to skip to the KA DOOM sound look at 41-43 secs please help. cheers guys please no trolling.

  7. hi guys im just wondering if its possible to change diff ratios with actually using another diff. i have an NA r34 GT with a diff ratio of 4.089 or something, im just wondering would it be possible to change it to 4.3 or 4.4 (with changing cogs) is this possible? cheers. p.s i dont want to buy a gtr diff lol im just wondering if this is actually possible. cheers.

Hi guys i dont know much about NA cars and exhausts but my NA r34 coupe has a 2.5" cat back exhaust with no mufflers and a resonator. will this be supplying enough back pressure? would it be infact making it perform better or worse due to the back pressure thing? Also i have a high flow cat and would extractors be a reasonable mod to do. i know that turbo cars have much better gains to be had but im still on my p's and have had these questions looming around for a while cheers.

  10. i removed my silencer pipes the intake is now louder and to me it feels more responsive but hey im no engineer just a med student :S i know nothing of blow of valves but i do bicuspid valves
  11. hmm ok is there a link regarding strengthening auto internals? isnt it just the valve body?
  12. hmm people say they actually reduce stress on the trans i know it sounds weird due to quick shifting one would think its kinda jamming the gears into place will it cost much to make the trans be able to withstand a turbo?

  14. Once the car hits the stall point of ~3000rpm however, the torque converter locks in and transfers ALL the power through the box. No slipping at all, assuming the engine is capabable of overcoming whatever is stopping the wheels from turning (ie: the brakes). An easy demonstration is to do a line lock. Stand on the brakes and floor it. From idle to ~3000rpm, nothing will happen. As soon as the engine reaches ~3000rpm the torque converter will lock in and the wheels will start receiving the full power. This results in a skid, and cheering crowds, and naked hot chiqs wanting to have sex with you. As is my understanding. ^found on a commo forum LOL! ps if i get a stall converter will it break my transmission? would a stage 2 shift kit and transmission cooler be enough for my NA auto tranny to support a RB25det conversion?
  15. im thinking of banging in a GT-T engine in my NA skyline would a stage 2 shift kit and a tranny cooler be enough to strengthen my transmission for around 220rwkw? my na already has turbo brakes what else should i consider?

  19. When I did a cai it defiantly made the car feel more responsive and also made the exhaust note alot meaner its prolly the best bang for buck u can get for an NA pplate legal car IMO
  20. hi guys im just wondering about how i would go about doing an engine transplant putting a GT-t engine in my NA r34 25gt. i know buying a gt-t is a better option financially but i want to have an engine so i can work on it and then when im off my p's bang that monster in . ok so my skyline already has the turbo brakes. i should be able to get a GT-t loom ecu turbo for around 2k-2.5k what else needs to be changed? im also awear that the drivetrain will need changing but ill change that when it brakes. plus i think they're only 150 -200 from a GT-t wreck anyway All answers would be helpfull. Ps. i managed to get my NA coupe for around 8k with 116,000 kms (guy was going bankrupt)
