  1. If you want the Z-Tube and Rev-up air box check out Perri Infiniti on eBay, they do a package deal on parts

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OEM-NISSAN-INTAKE-Z-TUBE-REV-UP-AIRBOX-K-N-DROP-FILTER-KIT-NEW-/261103668417?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ccafdccc1#ht_4394wt_962

I got both items plus the Motordyne basic spacer for $400 shipped to Geelong VIC. I went with this setup over the Pop Charger to keep a factory look and to save on heat soak. Nissan would spend R&D on a new air box and different intake tube for the Z for no gain (even if its just throttle response, that's still a gain).

  2. I recently did the same engine mods as what you are looking at. It's a good place to start.

I went with MD basic 5/16 spacer (ISO and Copper are for the US where it gets supa cold), OEM Z Tube and OEM Rev-Up Air box with a K&N panel (this adds a velocity stack over the basic hole in out air box) just to keep the stock look.

I already have a Tanabe cat back so I have noticed a small gain thru mid to high rev range. Nothing to soil your pants with tho.

    Best of luck.

  3. What are you replacing all this with mate? What sort of aftermarket lights etc

Headlights are those Halo lights (black housing) from that group buy earlier in the year.

Replacing the other stuff was a Z Tube, G35 Rev-Up Airbox, Iconic Dynamics emblemless grill (satin black), smoked indicators.

The grill is probably my favorite buy, will post some pics on a sunny day.

  4. Hi everyone,

As the topic state, I have some stuff to sell. If you see anything you like from the list below, just PM me about it. I'm happy to bundle any of the parts also.

    - OEM Coupe (2003) L+R Headlights (no globes or ballast) - $350 pair

    - OEM Side Indicators (no globes) - $20 pair

    - OEM Infiniti Grill - $50

    - OEM Infiniti Badging (for boot) - $50

    - OEM V Tube - $50

    - OEM Rear section of intake box - $30

All parts are in working order, they have just been replaced by aftermarket parts and are no longer needed. The rear Infiniti badging will be taken off this weekend, hence the photos showing them on the car. The headlights are going cheap as they have no globes. Save some cash then get the right globes, sounds fair hey.

Please not I am located in Geelong. Happy to drop parts off at Melbourne V meets. Postage to interstate at buyers expense.

    Cheers,

  5. Hey guys,

So I originally found the wheels on eBay, link below is like the same listing I found

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VARRSTOEN-2-2-2-19x10-5-5X114-3-TE37-style-wheels-GTR-/261018041616?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cc5e33d10#ht_8677wt_1186

Then I followed it up and dealt with the Australian stockist Cartel Online.

    http://www.shop.cartel-aus.com/

I got a wheel and tire package from them for about $2800 shipped to Geelong VIC. Same set up as above with Federal 595 tires (Front 245/35/19 Rear 265/30/19).

Super happy with the set up. Would recommend Varrstoen's when browsing for wheels. They are big in the states, just like our cars are.

  6. I'm interested in a black grill too but don't want to change the look of the car too much but also want to de badge the front. I'm going to buy one of these.

    http://www.ebay.com....#ht_7300wt_1007

Is that the same as this one - http://www.ionicdynamics.com/G35EmblemlessGrill.html

The one form Iconic Dynamics is done is satin black and seems to have less of those vertical joins. But would be interested to see if the eBay one can be done in the satin black.
