  1. I don't know but i would say it looks more like exhaust fumes, heavy exhaust fumes under load, not white smoke, that was a bit of over exaggeration.

But it looks bad in the rear view and i wouldn't like to be behind me when that happens.

If i got a retune and made it run lean/leaner, would it

    A. Reduce the black soot

    B. Reduce hp

    C. Make the engine struggle for fuel

    D. Get more KM's out of a tank of fuel

This is not a game show.

Also just tried a wax and grease remover from repco and WD40 on bumper and came up tits..................that sounds weird.

  2. So is that why i see a lot of white smoke come out of my exhaust when i leave work, i try not to give it gas, but when i even give it the slightest,it spewin out a 40 year olds smokers cough.

I need a mechanical answer to make the engine run right

  3. Ay yo! Does anyone know how to easily remove the black soot from the rear bumper without using so much elbow grease, or is there a reason why this happens and how can/ if you can stop it.

My engine has been modified with the usual things, or is there something possibly wrong with the engine

I've seen it on other cars as well, that have been modified so wonder if it annoys them just as much.

    Questions, thoughts, answers? :geek:

  4. Don't know what your going on bout with the valves and that but Andrew at hyperdrive put tomie type B procams on my car and it added like 100 hp which in my opinion was a good spend

  5. Oh my god, my brain hurts just reading that.

If your suss about it get your car back and have someone look at it that you trust.

Depending on what you paid for it and what it's insured for that's really your decision to make.

Pay for the repairs yourself or take the money from SGIO.

    nuff said.

  6. Just had my headlights restored by brett at autovis in osbourne park and can't be happier, made my 98 GTT look like it was brand new.

If you want your headlights restored go to autovis unit14, 66 roberts street, Osbourne park, W.A.

I have seen all the D.I.Y. stuff but if your to busy with your job get it done by this guy.

from $80 to $90 if you go to his workshop $180 to$200 for home job.

  7. so sumitomos arn't the best tyre is that what your saying but what bout the price.

Whats wrong with 20's i've seen 22's on skylines and 20's on other models mate so its not uncommon.

I asked for prices on toyo, yokohama and falken tyres and thats what they offered me so might have to keep searching, anyone bought tyres from tech9tyres.
