  1. Fair enough. Having owned one 33R and 2 32Rs, given the choice, I'd have another 32R. Never had a 34 so can't comment. My car is black, that is worse than MNP (surely). I just wash it every time I take it out... I'm on Perth end so let me know if I can help. I know the level of detail you'll be looking for..
  2. But MNP is the best. You not a fan of the 32? Don't rule out 34s IMO, one may pop up.. You never know. I still think you'd kick yourself if you bought a 33 then saw a 34 come up.
  3. My 2c The rust bothers me. Repair looks ok from behind a computer. Does look more worn than expected but much more used not abused. Interior doesn't really bother me that much as its all easily replaceable. Its the prior history combined with rust that does. That said, you now know its mechanically 100% and requires work elsewhere. Would you prefer a cosmetic and structurally 100% car that requires engine work / mods? Which costs more to achieve? Engine work or bodywork, your call? If it was my money, I'd walk away unless the price was something I simply couldn't turn down. Kudos to the seller though. Hiding nothing. Wish everyone was like that.
  4. ^In 2013 yeah it would've been... Pricing and AUD now = no.
  5. IMO this is where you're at. You know the story of the car. Pay less than a "showroom" example and you'll enjoy it more than a garage queen no story car etc and won't be too afraid of getting it dirty and using it to its potential.
  6. Obviously you can live without AC if you've got the Renault
  7. Yeah very healthy sounding. I saw the post on FB.
  8. Yeah 10k is a bit high especially if it needs a t-belt w-pump major imo. Especially off a mate
  9. Cause we're awesome? Idk tbh. There's also bulk R32s here... We love our GTRs?
  10. Pass on that purple 33 imo. There's a cheap white one for sale in WA. Light interior though. Info is a bit slack but I'll copy paste for you as its only advertised on Facebook. R34 GTR V-spec $55,000 1999 vspec Z tune front end. Built engine. Still twin turbo. 515hp tuned by Fabcar 97xxxkm's Pm for more info.
  11. Yeah 35s are dropping but are steady at 90 ish (aka lots to choose from at 90 so can be had cheaper). F360s are on the up. F355s already gone. 996 GT3 already gone. NSX, gone in Europe, here still ok. R34 GTR going up in Japan, here still around 45 for silver/white early not great examples. There was a period yeah of high km crappy ones for low 40s but I think those are gone?
  12. No way are 33s going up and 34s going down lol. 33s are holding steady but take forever to sell. Cheap examples start around 14-15k in WA at least. 34s in WA start around 55+ and that'll get you a white or silver example. Going to ask owner as to why rear quarter was painted? Previously I scraped my 33 GTR against a wall parking.. So that quarter had to be repainted....
  13. 56 isn't too bad for a genuine low km 2000 BSB Vspec surely? (If legit km) There's always wiggle room
  14. Get a 34 IMO. 33s are great too but too many bunky S1/2s bring value down if you're thinking future resale. If the 34 is a good one, you'll easily get part $ back from selling existing stuff and replacing it with what you please? Or go buy that purple nsx on carsales.
  15. I was in a similar position to you early last year except I was after a standard pristine 34 V-spec in BSB... Which a mate had and would've sold cheap to me. Ultimately I didn't do it as having had 32s and 33s before, seemed hard to justify. I bought a Honda instead... Keep thread updated man, keen follower haha.
  16. Sucks to hear mate. Better now than before you bought it I guess.
  17. I think you're almost looking for a reason not to buy Go look at it in person
  18. Still. There's 2 S3s for sale in WA atm, 23.5 and 25k. Then there's two regular ones for 15.5 and 17.5k.
  19. If seller is serious... Maybe try find someone to come with you then if you're dead keen...
  20. Build without receipts, bring it to Galvsport or similar for a full check imho. Yeah power was a little low but its running stuff all boost too. Get it checked over and pay what you're happy with. Like I said, I personally feel its expensive for a 33.
  21. Imho, pricey for a 33 that is white and not S3 even though its had a build. Find out if any work has been done to the sump? You'd still need to get it tuned after buying it..
