hi guys, just wondering would a bit of play in the kingpins on the front of a r33 skyline be the cause of the inside of the tyre becoming that worn that wire is starting to come through? compared to the outside of the tyre having almost full tread. its only the front passenger side and had a wheel allignment and balanced not too long ago.

Before i bought the skyline i have now i had a look up there, was on holidays so thought id look around, bloke there was showin me a few cars and had no idea about them, couldnt even tell me prices, was lookin at a r33 gtr that they had, told me runs beautifully, drives magnifacantly and so on. Went to take it for a test drive and it wouldnt start, got it started so started driving it and the front end was wobbly as f#$k, front kit nearly came off while driving it. then got back to the car yard. before we started it i had checked the oil and water, no oil on dip stick (i pointed that out and then they filled it back up- god knows how long it had been out of oil!) and the water was reallllly low, couldnt see it at all in the radiator (so of course i pointed that out and they filled that up too). after all that i asked him bout prices and he worked one out at $28990, i didnt say a word and jus left. my advice, they dont check theyre cars well enough, they dont know about the cars theyre selling, u point out the problems and they think jus filling it up to where it should be is no problems, and all thproblems the car has has no effect on price, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE DODGY!!! I experianced this first hand so i hope this helps your decision

Hey guys, just starting to do up my r33, pulled front kit off, pulled intercooler off, takin headlights off so far. looking at working on it DIY to turn it into my pride and joy. Details of the car include, blows blue smoke at startup and after idling for 10 mins, front kit needs re-fibreglassing and spraying, would like to get a turbo rebuild, want to strip the interior and fix little creeks n other noises, left headlight leaks water and blows globes, oil in intercooler pipes (not much but a little bit), stupid noise comin out of dash (only at startup or when i put air conditioner on- something to do inside the vents?), needs a power steering fluid reservoir, I live near Gawler in SA, got no idea where to start or where some good places to get work done are. Any help would be appreciated thanks guys

i got the same clicky noise, and mines definately comin fron the centre heater vents, i aint got no ide what it is, everythins workin so i dont try fix it "touch wood" lol

yeer, almost everything is stock except for inercooler itself, stock one wouldnt fit with bodykit so its modified a bit. any ideas

hey guys, workin on my 93 r33, has been blowin blue smoke for a while, only happens after car has been idling or the first start for the day, took my intercooler off and theres a bit of oil in it as well as the pipes. any ideas whats goin on? i was thinkin turbo seal or somethin. gonna clean it right out and see what happens. cheers
