  1. I had an ebay turbo once, the dreadful 50 70 KKR Rip off (I was so so poor back in the day lol and shamefully it was on an R34). It was only Oil Cooled. You would turn the blade and it wouldn't continuely spin like a GTX3076R. You could tell the build quality wasn't the best. The only thing I did to it was put an orginal GT30 Wastegate on.

Funny enough the car wasn't terrible, I was able to "overtake" v8's, evos and rexs. 3500rpm at 12psi (LOL). Car was dyno'd at 230rwkw (Injectors Maxed Out). I used it for 20000km and took it off because I got cashed up. Turbo is still in tip top condition. But you get exactly what you pay for. I payed for old technology and I got sub-par performance. Compared to a GTX3076R their are huge differences.

For Street use yes it is ok since you'll only ever run for less then a minute. But for track unless you have a couple sitting around and are ready to replace. I wouldn't use them again.

  2. R.I.P to the fella at OH Performance.

Their workmenship wasn't the best sounds like the cars they sell were even worse. I took my 34 in ages ago to get a turbo installed. They didn't put any gaskets on the manifold, turbo, dump pipe. Didn't install the turbo oil lines properly. Oil everywhere. The weld quality was terrible with cracks causing leakage. Now I just do all the work myself. Can't trust half these performance mechanics unless you throw them twice the amount a job is worth and still you get shotty work and pay an arm and a leg. Took them 1 month to do a turbo install. I put my new GTX3076R in less then a couple of hours. Doesn't pay been lazy.

Best of luck with your r32 GTR hope it works out, probably best to go to a repuatable performance shop unless you know how to do the work yourself.

  3. Hi Guys,

I want to put adjustable Cam Gears on my R34 GTT as I have Tomei Type B's Cams installed. The VCT (NVCS) is not been used. The Exhaust Side fits on no problems but the Intake side does not. The Intake side can be bolted up to the Cam Disc that sits in front of the Cam Gear but the hole on the Cam Gear that sits in the Cam is too big.

I did a 30 minute search on the forums and have found nothing, I have tried searching everywhere for an adjustable Cam Gear that fits on with no success. There has to be people who have installed Adjustable Cam Gears in their 34's.

Can anyone help me with this? Shed some light on any products or what type of setups they have.
