  1. Hey Andrew,

Looking pretty nice.. Is that Stance SC-5ive wheels? What are the rim size, width and offsets for the wheels?

    Raween

    Hi Raween,

The wheels are ADV 5.1's in 20x11.0 +20, deep concave profile. I ran 20x10.0 +15 flat profile on the front for a while too.

Stance SC-5ive look pretty good, very similar to Vossen.

    Cheers

  2. Mines on coils with one of the collars removed, lipped rear guards, camber arms and a bit of tire stretch to make it all work without rubbing. The front is not as easy though. Brake & swerve or crazy angle & take you time seems to work best for me.

Check the geometry of yours, the top of the wheels cambers in as the suspension compresses, how much clearance do you have to make? With enough room to the rear guards, you may be able to run a small spacer depending, but they aren't ideal.

    Good luck

  3. All positive developments! Like this idea more than full vinyl wrapping, which looks like a nightmare on compound curves and joins.

Have seen Plasti-dip used on friends badges, grills and wheels with great success. 2 key points we've found: 1: make sure you warm the can before and in between coats for a smoother consistency and finish (hot water in a bucket works well) 2: as Triggs mentioned, many coats = longer finish life and easier removal.

Mayo_85 should be here any second, hes got some practical experience with Plasti-dip and similar on the V.

  4. Hey guys, its the 'Viral' front bar by Anceltion (who unfortunately went out of business about 5 or 6 years ago from memory)

It's the same kit that was popular on the 350Z's which it why it looks so familiar, but no where near as common for the V. The front is pretty unique, deceptively long, but the rear bar.... well, I'll let you make you're own minds up:

Was also used as the base for the K&N G35:

Best of luck with the search

  5. Sorry for the thread jack, and I should clarify the yellow fronts:

A set of OEM headlights for sale with yellow tint & no fogging, no ballast (replaced mine with the ones from the group buy) The yellow tint overlays are currently up-applied with backing, cut to size.

$330 ono for the lights including the tints.

  6. Hit up streeter to source you one

best guy can gets his hands on some pretty rare stuff, and had probably the best reputation of anyone as a broker, been round for years. Ive spent 15+K through him

    jessestreeter.com

Totally agree, he was my first thought, sent him a message earlier. True to form, he's already contacted URAS and requested an eta for delivery.

I have a feeling I will be really really low, so I'll probably make a quick release bracket so i can drop it out easily if needed.

  7. Thanks everyone! And I should finally get around to some shots of the car... one day

Mayo, you're always dead-on with design ideas mate: URAS looks like the way to go... gotta brush on my Japanese to order it it seems though. Any particular reason they are so rare?

Currently my front looks like Nightcrawlers with a factory lip, think it will look mean with the URAS splitter under it.
