Hello every1, I have been researching redline shockproof because my R34 GTT 5th gear gives a bit of resistance when under any load and also gives a very slight crunch when shifting in to it. When driving around town (50 - 60km/h and get in to 5th) its okay, when driving on highway (70 - 90km/h and get in to 5th) it will resist / slightly crunch. Ive noticed that it only happens after around 15 mins of driving and the car is warmed up. Im thinking that it may be because oil thins when it warms up. It has 2.5 year old royal purple synchro max in it at the moment. People on the forum have advised that redline shockproof will help with this. I am going to buy some, have noticed that there are two types. What do I need for my car / problem - lightweight or heavy? Whats the difference? And how much of it do u need for a R34 GTT box? Or any other ideas to fix (apart from ripping the box out and replacing the synchro) would also be appreciated. Thanx heaps in advance for the direction with this.

Hi every1, I have a dent guy coming around tomorrow to get rid of some small dents which are in my roof. I need to take the roof lining off for him, any instructions how to do this, or any tips? Tried 2 search but couldnt find anything. I have taken the rest of the car literally 2 bits before but have never had a reason to remove the roof lining until now. Appreciate any info before I start jumping in and figuring it out. Thanx.

Hi there, Is it weird that it only affects 5th? Ive seen JustJap have a whole gallon of shockproof for $99. I might just grab some and do it myself. I'd risk $100 and try it out and maybe get no result - just 2 feed curiousity really. But i cant afford to risk the $300 it would cost to take it 2 a shop to have done.

Hello fatz, Thanx for the info. Looking at the oil thats in it, the receipt says its 2.5 years old now. And ive noticed that it only happens around 15 mins or more in to driving. When its cold it doesnt seem to do it. And I have been doing gentle shifts, it still resists very slightly but no massive crunches. Thinking about giving the shockproof a go because im thinking when oil gets warm, it thins out. Maybe this is why it doesnt happen when its cold?

Thank u, I called Uni group today. Yavuz isnt there for a few days but I spoke with one of the guys and he said he is not sure if the Redline will make a difference. And its $120 per litre and will need approx 2 litres of it + will cost $50 to put it in. Might just live with it for now, until it gets worse.

Hello, I have recently bought a R34 GT-T and have noticed that some times when releasing the clutch, when it is almost fully released I am getting a clicking noise / sound. The cluch is a Exedy organic heavy duty pull type clutch. It is around 6 months old Is this normal for this type of clutch? Any ideas what it could be and would it be something to worry about? Thanx heaps in advance for the direction.

Hi every1, Ive decided to fit my r34 gt-t neo engine cover back on. I have both brackets but I cant 4 the life of me figure out how to put the smaller one on or where it goes. Does any1 have a picture or diagram of where they fit? I couldnt even find it in the service manual. Thanx heaps in advance.
