  1. why would i expect a brand new clutch in a 20 year old car? im not retarded....
  2. When i bought it around a year ago the bloke said it had a exedy heavyduty clutch in it, so unless someone can tell me something special about RB30 clutches im putting it down to a good old fashioned jewing...
  3. Pulled out the clutch in my 32 cos it was faaarked to find it had a seccond-hand RB30 clutch in it. Any reason why this would be? like is there somethin good about 31 clutches?
  4. At the moment my car is up on stands but will be ready to come down for a drive on wednesday. The problem i have is the jack i used to get it up there is a mates and is in use, all the other jacks i have don't have a low enough profile to fit under my car once it is off the stands. Any ideas?
  5. The center is all undone its dropped lying on the floor nothing else else holding the shaft at all i just cant see as to why it wont release.
  6. Dam, was dreading this response lol Cheers mate ill see how it goes.
  7. I know this, it just isnt happening.....
  8. Been trying to get my tailshaft out for the last week in my 32. Have dropped the rear section from the diff but the short end connecting to the box will not move. Have been tuggin the nuts off it, tried a few gentle taps with a hammer, a few firm taps with a hammer and have had a ratchet strap to beyond tight tryin to pop it out. Seems like a f**kload of trouble for something that should just slide out? Im guessing the spline is bent but surely the ratched would of got it out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. cheeeeers
