Thanks for yr reply,yeah I know,the car wont be the same after a smash like that.Its written off now,had a few problems with the insurance company,they didn't even know what date they came to check car...lol. First they said repair,So had to take car to smash repairers.Then said yep we wrote car off the day we saw it..Its now gone to the Financial Ombudsman. They gave me a salvageprice,which sounded good,but the company wont pick up their ph...lol.. The places I call gave me half the price to take car,So insurance company is trying to keep more..hahahha,crazy.. My engine is good,so thinking abt buying a shell..

Wow that's not much damage at all..I got hit by a car going 80,front and back damage..My car should have bn written off straight away,dumb ass guy fr insurance company said repair..Now finally its written off.

Repairer said write off:-(..getting the second assesment today..after 2 days of fighting with the insurance company i got to choose my own repairer and and got them to pay for tow,which they refused at first...I got a hire too... Good luck finding yr new car..Thanks for all yr help..:-).

Omg assessor wants me to take car to a panel beater...I thought he comes to asses the car...grrrrrr...this guy was more like a Photography.

I still cant believe that mine is gone,I stand at the car,just staring at it...Had so much trouble,must b a vic thing, tow guy wanted cash on the spot,$260,I said i can pay by credit card, i wanted my car brought hm... He said nope cash only,took to depo and gave me a infor on my rights, which I read in da morning.. He was meant to accept card or aggree for me to pay later.. Rang vic roads,the guy and company got there ass kicked, and brought my car hm, i didt have to pay any towing...I grew up in syd, now in mel... It really suxs here...lots of sunday drivers... We brought another car, ford xr6, but just not like a skyline, hate drivin it, and sooo many around..

Just a transfer, u have 3 months to transfer to nsw.. Make sure u get a insurance cover note while drivin the long trip,get full insurance for mel to syd and change to 3rd part later if u want too..

Omg im going through the same thing...I have a Nissan Skyline Gts-t 40th Anniversary... Some dumb ass lady came and hit me at 80..and I hit the front car too... I only have 3rd party insurance cos im a good driver..lol.....accident was not my fault... The car is getting assessed on monday.. Im taking my head unit,amp,sub out tomorr..car has $70 fuel,1000 tyres,all parts that were replace were new,which i would find myself and give my machine.... I have talked to a few ppl,depanding on what kinda damage u have..The car is never how it use drive.. Suxs big time ha..u spend sooo much and insurance wont pay for things u have added..we had to have time off work,hire a car for a few days...no one pays for that too..sux sux big time...find cars like yr car online and give them to the insurance company and dont take first offer...thats what i have heard,thats what im doing..Good luck..
