f**k off, my paint job is awesome - 3 layer pearl for 2k (Usually he does it for 4k - 5k). Not painting inside the doors / engine pay isn't the biggest deal, my cars white, inside my doors are an off white - in no way is my paint job a "Taxi paint job"
Even if I had 5k to spend i'd still rather spend 2k to get what i've done. I would change nothing about my car.

Agreed. I have all intake/exhaust mods and spacer (tune could be better was slightly lean) and made 165rwkw. This equates to around 220rwhp.

I think your WHP are overinflated American specs. I'm running a shitload of massive upgrades and an UpRev tune and i'm only running 230WHP.

Just save all your mods and on your 21st smash them all into your car at once. You'll be able to feel the gain a lot more this way too.
get some quotes from other insurance companies first.. I'm with NRMA. They weren't the cheapest, but have a policy to beat competetors quotes by 10%. I pay about $800 a year with glass cover.
I'm paying $112 per month for Just car, living in Brisbane. I'm 36. I did put in all the minor mods like exhaust, rims, suspension...etc, even though I don't have some of them, still the same price.
You're both 36 / 37 - For us "Under 25's" we get absolutely hammered with Insurance. I shopped around for ages and nothing came even remotely close to what I pay with NRMA, which is $1400 a year at Market Value.

I'd suggest not swapping until you're 21 though. Do the online quote again and pretend you're 21 - you'll see a fairly large price drop.
Free2go is just free roadside assistance from RACQ. Usually costs around $100, and I think it'll only last year.

NRMA. - I pay $120 a month and it automatically covers all mods without even asking what they are.
When I was importing my car I searched around. RACQ 100% refused to even give me a quote. Shannons and Justcar were too expensive and required it 'not to be my main form of transportation'. NRMA was the cheapest and best I could find.
Mine's insured for market price which includes all mods, otherwise you just set the value of the car which would include mods. The only thing about NRMA is high excess.
