hey guys! did't want to start a new thread but ended up getting 350z wheel for a bottle of vodka! but no tyres on them just wanted to know what tyre size to run, 18x8 and 18x8.5 was thinking 225/40 and 245/40? would that be correct?!

Haha i was thinking probaly to get some decent wheels i just don't like the idea of scrubbing daily ride, plenty of speed humps on the way out and back in! so thats why wheels will be a little bit "weak" lol thanks

Was planning on running 18x8.5 +30 front and something like 18x9/9.5 +22 at the rears or the same fitment but in 17"s was going to run 34R wheels but 9" will scrub is what im told up the front

Thanks yeah they will fit but im more wondering if there legal to have diffrent width wheels being an 1/1.5" diffrence the example was just something random lol but that was the idea diffrent widths, looking at a set of wheels and its seems everyone sells staggered set, i would rather run all the same around but can't seem to find any ones to my liking

No i didn't read it correct! lol so theres 2 types of gates belts will probaly go the black rubber belts as im not a DIY person am getting a shop to do it for me as its going it for the 100km.

Hey i have been searching for a few hours not couldn't find an answer, posted here because laws vary just wondering is it legal to run staggered wheels same size for example something like 18x8+30 18x9 +30 for a r34 gtt thanks

So gates wouldn't be the best bet then was intrested becasue of the 3x more strenth but probaly just a gimmick, will probaly go bosch or nissan then thanks

Hey guys time to change my accessory/drive/fan whichever one it is, on my r34 just wondering which one should i be getting Nissan,Gates, Bosch etc? thanks! i have searched but could not find anything actually on which one to get.

OKay so i had a look at the car there is no oil around the Rocker covers and i had the car on the ramps so took the splash tray off to give it a clean and saw a heap of oil on it! it looks like the oil is coming from the oil pan/Sump(the one where the sump plug is in) i think thats what its called and it must be taking it back to the rear main i just want to confirm what is it called and what would need to be done gasket? thanks

Damm would they be leaking case not installed properly? and guess i would have to buy another set? sigh thanks guys for the help

well i had the rockers changed already that would rule that out i guess is it a very big job to change? Thanks for that link!!!V:):)

Hey everybody my mechanic has told me my rear main seal is leaking oil and i plan on replacing it just wondering would it be worth while doing any other gaskets while thats being done? my car is r34 Non turbo Auto And also im overdue for the 100km service i am planning on buying the 100km service kit from kudosmotorsport but have read that is only a base for it what other small things should i be getting done besides obviously the oil. thanks for you help!

Hey people, im looking at getting a wheel alignment done and changing a couple things can anyone recommend a good street setting for r34 gt non turbo? I also would like some negative camber at the rear for a "stanced looked" would adjustable camber arms do the trick? looking at somehwere between -.5 to -.1.0 thanks will post up my current alignment setting when later tonight thanks!

Hey, iv had my car for a while now(r34 gt non turbo) and wanting some coilovers but don't really understand them lol anyway iv found a set of tein Super Streets for sale with the spring rates 4/4kg obviously the number is low but is that ideal for everyday driving? the wrecker told me my springs where on there way? so thought i would look for something close to stock. thanks any input would be great

Solved Thanks! was Either the Water temp sensor or the fuel filter thinking it was the sensor tho i forgot to reset the ECU did it this morning and it fired up nicely!

So i changed the sensor on the weekend and its still doing the same thing and i seem to be getting very bad fuel consumption 350kms max! a tank!

Hi thanks for that! quick question how much oil would i need? is the redline good? eg smooth shifting? my car is onaly an N/a so i dont really thrash it...

So iv done a search nothing really into the question i needed answered so here we go, Iv got my R34 GT and im wanting to do all the oils,filters etc iv come to a stop tho on the Automatic transmission oil and can't see which one is the best to use So some guidance would be great from reading around the forums iv seen TRANSMAX Z is a thumbs up but iv had my eye also on Royal purple Max Atf and Redline Atf, would those be an overkill to use? but in saying that would the shifting be smooth? Everyone seems to swear by redline for a manual! Thoughts and advice would be great thanks!

The fuel filter was changed around around 6 months ago and for the temp sensor plug is that just under the engine cover? thanks!
