Nice laps. What's the read light on the tach? Is that an oil light coming on?
Gear change indication. Thats the 1st of 3 lights that come on as you approach redline (8500 rpm).

Here is my in car from the Corvette.
Few laps with Steve Ka as a passenger frying some rear tyres

2nd session lap two is the 60.7sec lap which took fasted time off the day.
Does it even go in a straight line?

also thanks to Brian for taking me for a spin in the corvette, such a beast, and to Mark (Staz88) for sitting shotgun and teaching me how to spin out like a boss, ended up shaving off those 2 seconds straight up next timed session. Hopefully Luke got some footage from that passenger session, was quite fun
Was a pleasure.. even if I did get a little bit dizzy.

I big thumbs up to the organisers. The day was run very well. I had a blast.
Commiserations to the owner of the R32 that hill the wall. Glad to hear you walked away from it though - that's the main thing.
Great bunch of guys and girls there. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
I've got some in-car video I will upload tonight, including the Corvette doing a nice pirouette.

Loving the variety of cars entering. Now I don't feel out of place in the Corvette, Love the little Exige what engine you got in it?
Supercharged Toyota 1.8 2zz-ge - 240hp.
Corvette hey? That'll be interesting to watch. I'll make sure I bring the camera.

Entered and paid!
I think I saw that Lotus cruise though St Marys last week, if so, looks and sounds tough as
Don't think that was me.. i'm off to check car is still in garage.

I wouldn't mind joining the fun if you'll have me.
Since it's a Skyline track day, I didn't want to jump in too soon has I'd hate to take up a spot if that means a Skyline'er misses out.
So let me know and I'll get my entry in ASAP.

You didn't happen to be at Pie in the Sky Yesterday arvo? Plates GOK4RT or something similar?
Yah, that was me.
Were you up there riding or driving?

Mind if I tag along? Car hasn't hit the pavement for 3 weeks due to weather.
Forecast looking semi-ok at the moment:
The chance of rain early in the morning.
Sunny day. Winds northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h turning westerly 20 to 30 km/h during the morning.

That Elise shot is my fave. It's all in the camera .

What a great day.
A big thank you to Skylines Australia and it's members for organising a very fun track day. Also a huge thanks to the guys who volunteered their time from those manning the loadspeaker to the guys doing scrutineering.. you all made everything go smooth and we all got plenty of track time. Thanks for letting me join in the fun.
Also a big thumbs up to all the drivers. Everyone I saw was courteous on the track which made the day so much more enjoyable.
I would love to join future track days with you guys.
Oh... and thanks Kristy for my new Avatar pic.

Yeah, if the revs are rising quick, then the rev lights come on sooner to give you more warning, But if the revs are rising slower then they don't light until you're closer to red line.
I tend to hold the throttle a bit when I change gears, hence the revs momentarily rise quickly between gear changes and thus the light gets lit.
