  1. Yeah, if the revs are rising quick, then the rev lights come on sooner to give you more warning, But if the revs are rising slower then they don't light until you're closer to red line. I tend to hold the throttle a bit when I change gears, hence the revs momentarily rise quickly between gear changes and thus the light gets lit.
  2. Gear change indication. Thats the 1st of 3 lights that come on as you approach redline (8500 rpm).
  3. Was a pleasure.. even if I did get a little bit dizzy. Running Kumho V70A Semi's. Here's my 1st run of the day..(HD available)
  4. I big thumbs up to the organisers. The day was run very well. I had a blast. Commiserations to the owner of the R32 that hill the wall. Glad to hear you walked away from it though - that's the main thing. Great bunch of guys and girls there. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I've got some in-car video I will upload tonight, including the Corvette doing a nice pirouette.
  5. Supercharged Toyota 1.8 2zz-ge - 240hp. Corvette hey? That'll be interesting to watch. I'll make sure I bring the camera.
  6. Entered and paid! Don't think that was me.. i'm off to check car is still in garage.
  7. I wouldn't mind joining the fun if you'll have me. Since it's a Skyline track day, I didn't want to jump in too soon has I'd hate to take up a spot if that means a Skyline'er misses out. So let me know and I'll get my entry in ASAP.
  8. Yah, that was me. Were you up there riding or driving?
  9. Great day.. thanks for organising Fatz. Nice pics. Thanks. Link worked for me on desktop.. but not on mobile.
  10. Should be a good day. If you see an Orange Lotus on the way down from Sydney give me a toot.
  11. Mind if I tag along? Car hasn't hit the pavement for 3 weeks due to weather. Forecast looking semi-ok at the moment: The chance of rain early in the morning. Sunny day. Winds northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h turning westerly 20 to 30 km/h during the morning.
  12. *cough* Exige *cough* Nice camera button pressing skills Charlie.
  13. Me neither. By the way, it was nice to meet you on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere Brodie. Well run cruise guys, as usual. It's always fun to tag along with the Skyline Club.
  14. Repco should have it.
  15. Hey John, Thanks for organising this. I have already registered for this trackday. Hopefully I can get that $250 price though. Regards, Mark.
  16. What a great day. A big thank you to Skylines Australia and it's members for organising a very fun track day. Also a huge thanks to the guys who volunteered their time from those manning the loadspeaker to the guys doing scrutineering.. you all made everything go smooth and we all got plenty of track time. Thanks for letting me join in the fun. Also a big thumbs up to all the drivers. Everyone I saw was courteous on the track which made the day so much more enjoyable. I would love to join future track days with you guys. Oh... and thanks Kristy for my new Avatar pic.
