  1. RAY's Nismo LMGT4s with Yokohama S-Drives

    Hey Guys!

Looking to sell my set of RAY's Nismo LMGT4s in 19x10.5+30 (x2) and 19x9.5+30 (x2) in Silver colour. One of the smaller wheels has a minor mark on the outer lip, but otherwise they’re all in great condition with minor wear.

The wheels also come with a set of Yokohama S-Drives in 275/30//19 (x2) and 245/35/19 (x2). Approximately 90% tread left.

I’m looking for $3K for the set. No trades or swaps. If you would like to inspect the wheels or purchase please PM me.

The wheels can be picked up or shipped throughout Australia at buyer's expense.

  2. I don't even have to push my door to close it. I just get out my car and quickly move out the way while the door shuts itself. I like to think its an automatic door closing feature. Honestly only need to push the door closed when there is a strong wind in the wrong direction.

I'd never see a reason to slam the door, but I see it happen and it makes me want to cry.

I had to lol at this. I do the EXACT same thing when I get out of my V.

    1. Swing door open with a flick.

    2. Step out of the car like a boss.

    3. Door perfectly closes by itself as I walk away.

  3. I did the course in January this year, and it's changed a bit to what previous people have gone through. The course is about 7-8 hours over 2 days, and includes theory and practical riding. Everyone gets a nice new Yamaha to ride. The first day is simply understanding the basics and getting a decent idea about how the bike works and how to ride the thing. The second day has generally the same layout as the first, but it focuses more on rider safety (where you should be on the road, how to react in certain situations, what to wear, etc.), and ends with an assessment.

The only way you can fail on the first day is if you can't keep the bike upright or continuously stall it. Unfortunately one guy in our group just couldn't understand the concept of a clutch.

The graded assessment on the second day looks pretty nerve racking, but you basically practice the ENTIRE assessment for 1.5 hours just before. The circuit is simply a large rectangular area with semi circle ends. All you have to do is have the correct start off, upshift on the straights, downshift before the bends, and downshift to 1 whilst correctly stopping at the instructor's line. You can get penalised on HEAPS of things, but most people just lose a few points on stupid things like not looking or shifting early/late. The most you can lose is 10 points.

Overall, the course is damn easy. The actual pass rate for the course in SA is like 95% (asked the instructor).

  4. Hey guys

As seen below, I have a 2004 V35 Coupe with the Bose sound system and aftermarket Carrozeria options. Two questions

    1. What would be the best way about getting a 3.5mm jack and iPod/iphone connection to purely play audio?

    2. Would getting an FM band expander interfere with any type of possible installation?

    Any help would be awesome!

    Cheers

Edit: Noticed these options in another thread:

Anyone have any experience with these before, are they compatible with a 04 V35 Coupe?
