  1. Yeah I do How the hell did this thread get to 27 pages already? Oh an idea for the next SAU meet Housewarming party at Jarreds
  2. Too old? Too old ???????????? I'm older than you boy so don't give me any of that too old crap
  3. Oh and Harden up 34GTT 4am starts are easy It's the 3 or 3.30 starts that are hard
  4. Your doing it wrong Should be a tennis ball on a bit of string hung from the roof Ball hits windscreen when it's time to stop
  5. I meant to say brembos but auto correct got me Having had a better look at the pics I'm going to vote for the red as it just seems to break up the yellow and gold a bit
  6. Anthony if the gold matches the been is go with those Or can you get the gold and red then decide which is better
  7. At least 300kg When I worked at a wreckers I would cut the seat belts out of the car and use them for slings to pull the motor and box out of the car Never ever had one break before that night in the garage
  8. No OH&S at home True story time When dad and I were building a clubman we had it sitting on a table in the garage which was on wheels donated by woolworths or Coles and we could wheel it around the garage. As the car was only sitting on wooden blocks on the table there was only 4 inches clearance between car and table but this night we needed to do something under the car so we wheel the table over to where the chain block is. Now the chain block is attached to an RSJ that is in the roof of the garage and we used a seat belt between the hook and the car and winch up the rear of the car. I grab a jack stand but dad says no need it's only a two minute job, he climbs under the car does the job and crawls out. The very second he is clear of the car the seat belt breaks and the car comes crashing down onto the table. We ALWAYS used jack stands after that so maybe OH&S should be applied with vigilance in a home garage
  9. I never worry to much Make sure you get one of those earth leakage switch trip things in the garage when it's wired up Best thing ever invented and will kill the power before it kills you
  10. I didn't dad did but not a file Grinder FTW
  11. Nice to know Now I don't have to worry bout my 15 amp compressor plugged into a 10 amp outlet
  12. Just don't do what my father in law did and hit a water pipe Jarred will correct me if I'm wrong but 3 wires usually means 3 phase is available
  13. How many wires from the pole to the house? Is the tyre machine cheap enough as in a couple of hundred or is it more than that? Also be very careful what type of arm it has as some can move when taking off or fitting tyres and can scratch rims Also a good idea to have one or two 15 amp outlets in a garage as well for welders or compressers if needed EDIT just my 2c worth
  14. Oh I see Someone who knows how to really steer a car
  15. NFI Gold
  16. I forgot about 3 mainly cause of the big turd that it is EDIT. Bout the only good bit of that movie was the stuck up blonde getting injured at the start Oh and trying to drift a FWD Lancer on the docks with expert commentary from the old fisherman
  17. Just to derail this thread some more I just had the kitchen bloke over to do the final measurements, painted one wall with 5 different colours for Melisa to chose which one she likes and filled a few holes in the gyprock.
  18. I like 5 for the cool cars and the old school skyline at the start of the movie when Paul is driving through the slums Then I think it was 4 for with the petrol tankers for the massive LOL's. Who knew cars could pull 10+ tonnes and go 50mph in reverse And finally 1 for the sheer stupidity and one liners. Plus the longest 10 sec quarter ever complete with laptop on passenger seat. "Danger to manifold"
  19. Oh okay I better not go to that extreme then I'll just stick with what I have Semi slick tyres and the right pressure in them and concentrating on getting braking turn in and exit power down points right
  20. Ah okay So what is it if I remove the back seats as well?
  21. So let me see if I got this right Weight reduction stage one = having a piss Weight reduction stage two = having a piss and a dump Is that right?
  22. Yeah but it's a commonwhore so doesn't really count
  23. He wasn't tired when he said that He was probably thinking about making some hahahahahahahahahaha
  24. Maybe on villa board they do but not gyprock At least the new bits are in and just need to do the final setting on Tuesday then I can undercoat and paint as soon as Melisa decides on a colour
