  1. yes you need the original game to play, alot of games come with DLC these days, in the case of BF3, the DLC is actually old school "expansions". With BF3 each expansion comes with new game modes, maps, vehicles, weapons etc for multiplayer. The premium pack gives you all expansions, as well as 2 weeks early access to them when each comes out "NOTE: You need to have Battlefield 3 installed to use the pack!"
  2. Good thing about HR is that it isnt a sequel to the first or second games It is set a couple of decades before the first one so story wise it is unrelated to the first, and being made 10 years later, its a new engine, new artwork etc This, am enjoying chivalry, still needs a bit of balancing though
  3. I have heard alot of good things about the Witcher 2 as well if you are searching steam for good value games, you can find some gems for a cheap price, might not be a very good game full price, but for 5-10 bucks it can be great, running a search like this and sorting by metacritic score http://store.steampo...der=DESC&page=1 also, if you are after a game that is on steam but not on special, there are other sites out there which are legit and sell steam keys and have their own specials, such as green man gaming, gamers gate, amazon, good old games (not steam keys, but sell old dos/win 95 etc games in a package that runs on win7 & 8), cjs cd keys
  4. Well if you arent after the latest and greatest, some games I have enjoyed lately are Deus Ex Human Revolution, and if you never played the first, give yourself an uppercut and then get that too. Farcry 3 Dawn of War if you like sci fi rts, DoW 2 is more squad based rpg than base building like the first, both are older games but the campaigns are lots of fun Torchlight 1 & 2 are quite good Diablo clones Assassins Creed Sleeping Dogs Dishonoured has been great so far but Im only a couple of hours in Darksiders 1 & 2 Prototype 1 just for running/flying around farken shit up Max Payne 3 Also, alot of games these days seem to have a free high resolution texture pack, but you often have to install it manually.
  5. is it auto or manual? Im interested in centre console surround, gearbox/lighter surround, gear knob and steering wheel if its manual pending condition. maybe boot carpet as well
  6. yup, the guys at work are in their 40s and 50s, so not really that old.... It is also regional australia, the rules used to be alot more lax back in the old days
  7. i think this thread was a good idea, good to see the RTA being pro active about stuff like this, not everyone thinks to check road rules on the rta website. How many older drivers dont even use the internet. its like the rules about indicating at a roundabout, the rules changed 10-12 years ago, but they made a big deal about it recently because alot of people werent following the rules (and still dont) I dont trust older drivers because they most likely got their license when there were few rules and regulations and are the biggest culprits with rules like roundabouts. When I was on my Ls back in 2004, I had a couple of lessons with a driving instructor, he spent at least half an hour going through blind spot basics, and another half an hour going through roundabouts and the rules.. 2 of the guys at work got their motorbike license back in the day when all you had to do was rock up and they got it on the spot. No learners course, no tests (driving or computer), no Ls, no Ps, no learners handbook to read. just a case of here you go, have a license, no questions asked.

  13. I think its funny how people keep going on about being parked illegally. Surely you wouldnt be covered if they had to smash a window so they could put it into neutral, put the hand brake down and push it out of the way, but anything other than that, like smashing into you, you would be covered by their insurance, even if your car is uninsured, as they are at fault. PS. not getting into the legalities of your car being unregistered as I have no idea how the rules apply then or if your car was even on a road when the incident happened. But if your car wasnt on the road, then its physical property damage covered by their public liability, road rules are irrelevant here. But then again, OP has failed to provide details about what actually happened so troll/argue away
