Hey all iv had my skyline for about 8 months now gone to a few drifting events here and there Skid pan etc. Iv noticed nobody really drives the R32 or R33 as much as the Silvias last week i went to an event at eastern creek, me and another person were the only skyline owners out there compared to the 25-30 Silvia drifters. Iv driven some Silvia's and i dont understand the hype, i see them blow something every time i go out there and its mainly on water, iv seen body panels go for considerably cheaper then the skyline, but motor wise, the SR20 seems to cost alot more then lets say the rb20, and they put out similar power. but that's just me. What you guys think?

Hey guys, iv been running my car for a while with a rb25 turbo, and i recently heard something about welding a nipple onto the inter cooler piping and running the vacuum line from the turbo is a better idea then running off the intake manifold plenum. thanks

yeah i might just swap the actuator over, im guessing that i might have used the wrong vacuum lines also.

hey all, i put on my rb25 turbo today, replaced the gaskets for the exhaust manifold and dump, ran the car without my turbosmart manual controller. It ran stabily at 5psi then used the controller and turned it a few clicks boost wouldnt increase, i think i got to around 17 clicks nothing happened i put the spring and ball into the controller and it just spikes to 15-16 psi til i let off so it wouldnt increase. Not sure whats the problem is, I didnt swap actuators across as i had the mbc. anyone have experience with the turbo change? cheers

Hey all, as title states im looking for bigger turbo than the stock rb20 one, wanting to acheive 200rwkw so not sure if rb25 turbos will help, if anyones selling something like that let me know, also looking for after market ecu, not exactly sure what to use beside power fc or nistune, if anyone is selling that or has something similar to that also, id like to know haha. hey all, iv had a problem with my knock sensor, it retards the ign timing sometimes on idle( between 1-15 mostly sits around 7 degree), but when driving the car felt normal. I turned on the car today heated it up idled fine, i started to drive and timing dropped to 2-5 degree under load, it even hit 0 it couldnt be driven, but on idle it was okay. I ran it through a scanner and it came up with the code 34 knock sensor earlier today, but after today im not sure if it would doing this from just the sensor being off, i feel like it might have skipped a tooth on the belt. Anyone had the knock sensor problem before?

Hey all i decided to go upgrade my gearbox to the 25 box and i now have to get the custom tailshaft, Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost? cheers

Just the recommended oil my mechanic put the box in, it probably is just worn, probably not give it anymore hell til i can afford the r33 box. thanks all

Hi guys im looking to get purchase a rb25 gearbox for my rb20, but i heard it needs alot of custom work done to it like tailshaft,gearbox mounts, speedo drive. If anyone has the package it would really save me the trouble of getting the parts seperatly, just pm and ill get back to you asap. cheers

It feels so bad when going into 2nd quickly, im not snapping it in but just fast, feels like its not far from crunching, the box just feel weak. Im curious if this is like all the 20 boxes.

hey all, i bought my r32 with one of the bearings destroy(metal pieces everywhere) which in turn rendered the box useless, i had another rb20 box installed $750 all up. But now im seeing that this new box has a small whine nothing too bad, but today was the first i actually gave it in 1-2-3 gear, and when it into 2nd it went in like it was going explode if i did it a few more times. Are all 20 box's like this, or is this box probably stuffed aswell? thanks

Hey all iv recently installed a HKS BOV on my R32, i heard that it is a massive fine if found that the plumb-back is blocked off, im not sure exactly, i just wanted to know what everyone does in this kind of situation, do they take off the whole plumbback piping off, or do you make it look like its still connected to something Thanks

Hey all my r32 gearbox is broken, and i had to buy another one, the guy i bought the new gearbox from took it out of a R34 Gt N/A was wondering if that bolts straight up? I heard they were similar. Thanks
