  1. Yes - this thing was firing ****ed, and fully ****ed in general - but he was going new turbo, internals - so he wanted to thrash the stocky..why not I guess!
  2. Yah..I have a friend running over 1.2 bar stock with all the limiters removed. Personally I wouldn't, but it depends on how quick you wanna replace it I guess!!
  3. Personally .. I'd go away from AVC-R and SAFC. Go full ECU. I am up at ~ 260Hp with 3" exhaust, twin dump pump, and Apexi intake. Add FMIC and simple boost controller and go to maybe 1.2bar boost. Should be good for the 200RWKW. Then later on, look at bigger squirters, fuel pump, turbo etc.. It's endless.

  5. Was dissapointed in the race, for the simple reason the race wasn't restarted after the first (major) crash...it's usually at the race steward's discretion, but they should have really. The amount of punctures (thanks to the carbon shrouds) really pissed me off too, more so for the simple fact that the FIA has, for years, been saying they are going to implement procedures (ie coating cf in resin to prevent splintering) for preventing carnage damaging other cars, but they still haven't...When JB went off, I turned off..

  11. Yes, there are reports Mika is in discussion with BAR, but to be honest, I'd be very suprised if he went from a 3 year sabbatical, STRAIGHT BACK into an F1 car. A lot has changed in those 3 years, for him, as well as the sport itself. Webber I believe, will get 3 seasons MAX to deliver a WDC to Williams. Frank Williams and Patrick Head are the biggest hard asses in F1, and they never allow their drivers to fail to deliver, which would explain the 'relative ease' in which they got rid of Ralph and JPM. I believe they have a decent package for '05 - and with Webber, and more than likely, Button, they can give Williams it's first WDC since JV in 1997. Button to Williams, while not 100% confirmed, will happen. No such thing as a "bind proof" contract anymore .. money always wins out, and there are always ways n means of getting out of any contract. In my oppinion, Takuma will stay at #1 driver for BAR Honda next season, and I am sure Anthony Davidson will go to #2 driver. Personally, seeing Button, arguably BAR Honda's best driver, in the short few years they've been in F1, leave the team, the way he has, is heartbreaking. I would like to either Nick Heidfeld, or Jarno Trulli step up to BAR tho.
  12. JV was a champion, prolly the only one who took it to M$ and beat him, prior to BAR that was. Also, remember that the BAR Honda of the past few years was shite, and you're onl now starting to see the results of the millions of $$$s worth of R&D. Button wont go (or be allowed to go) that easily..it's gonna be a huge legal wrangle.
  13. We'll see... Like I said, DR f*cked up in my oppinion. Davidson is a good TEST DRIVER, but we'll see if he makes the transition to F1. Ie Gene at Williams and Badoer at Ferrari - they can't race for shit.
  14. BAR Honda is actually one of the richer teams, with D.R owning Prodrive, and the vast $$$s of British America Tobacco propping them up. TS is useless - yet he is the main reason Honda re-signed as engine supplier for the next 3 years..kinda good publicity to have a Japanese driver in a Jap powered car. It's 99% confirmed Anthony Davidson will be promoted to #2 driver next season..
  15. Button WAS owned by Frank Williams back in 2001 and was then loaned off (ie still owned by FW) to Renault in 2002. In 2003 Dave Richards BOUGHT Jenson Button outright, as 2nd driver (behind JV) to BAR HONDA. 2004 and JB was #1 driver.
  16. What pisses me off more than anything, is this is the 2ND time within a year that Dave Richards has gone back on his words. Halfway thru season 2003 - he finally accepted Honda's proto-type 19000 RPM engine had enough reliability to challenge CONSISTENTLY for podiums, and basically said "Next season we will have the engine to challenge for points, and two great drivers, in JV and JB" .. next second, JV is sacked! Now he's more or less said the same thing about season 2005 - and gone n sold Button..
