also got a factory for race prep...

  2. Ah.... another legendery SAU meet-up.... :(

TAS was semi-good this year. Some good stuff like the Topfuel S2000 Type RR etc, Rocky Auto Z..

Richard, we have to get some meet-up before I go back on Thursday of if anybody else are up for a meet-up my number is 080 1509 7112.

  3. Yeh, this is pretty long holiday for me,

spending 5 nights in Kansai, 3 Nights in Sapporo, finishing off with TAS and 7 nights in Tokyo. So got time, and want to squeeze as much as possible in.

Want to leave the clubbing till tokyo, bought a guidebook, recommended a club called Ageha, any thoughts?

Ageha is ok, depends on the night. It it located a bit out of the center of Tokyo/Shibuya and Roppongi, around 40 min by bus.

As I mentioned before check out Womb and Yellow, rated on the list of top clubs in the world.

  4. Being stereitypical AZN, me want techno/R&B clubs ahahha

Just want a fun night out and have drinks with friends in Tokyo

I heard that some places dont let Gaijins in, so could use suggestions from 'locals'

Im actually staying in Shinjuku close to kabuki-cho

oh and maybe someone here would know..

Im getting the impression that quitet a few ex-pats live in Kobe...

so... wats there to do and see in Kobe or arround Kobe?

You got Womb, Unit, Module for harder stuff in Shibuya and Harlem for hip-hop/r n b. A visit to Yellow is well worth it, just for the soundsystem.

Plenty of concrete holes/small clubs like Milk, Fai Aoyama, Mixrooffice, No style etc with good music and friendly staff.

    For Kobe/Kansai check out http://www.kansaiscene.com/2006_03/html/club.shtml

  5. I'm here mate... just a little tied up at the moment with moving stuff. I sadi I would be there by beginning of November, but thats now looking like beginning of January! So I hope I can be there a few days before TAS kicks off.

Excellent. Looking forward to finally meeting you.

  6. You're all gonna laugh probably, but I got lazy and decided to stay in a great business hotel I stayed at last time near Roppongi. Thing is though, I am gonna be there for about a week (with the TAS weekend in the middle of my stay). And as you mentioned Beer Baron, it's a couple of mins walk to a train station. And I don't mind the trip to TAS, I think it's best to be staying in Tokyo so you can go out at night and do stuff.

Now, who's keen to go out for some food and drinks in Roppongi one night with me? :)

    Get on the list: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=134543

Best is to stay in central Tokyo. It is easy enough to get to Nismo, TS, etc from there.

Always up for a night in Roppongi. :)

We are going from 10 to 18 of January.

  7. Alright well I'm pretty determined now to meet at least some people there this time.

    Whos with me?

Nick if you go of course we'll hook up. Christian?? Richard?? Anyone else? You TAS veterans are pretty reliable right? lol

    Ah.... the famous SAU meet-ups.

Like Nick and Richard said: SAU NO SHOW

It would be cool to get a big group together.

Are you going again for TAS 2007?

    I am considering it.
