  2. I recently went through this drama of APP code. Was the code P2138?

You can get the sensor separately which is cheaper than replacing the whole pedal assembly. Something like this: http://www.cyberspaceautoparts.com.au/contents/en-uk/p19834_Nissan_Throttle_Position_Sensor.html

In my case it turned out to be an issue with low battery voltage which caused issues. Replacing the battery and resetting the ECU followed by the throttle re-learn procedure from the service manual sorted out the problem for me. In fact it happened twice (years apart) and both times seemed to be low battery voltage related.

  3. Try East Coast Customs at Geebung, I know they have all the gear to find the issue (and fix it).

I have had the VDC - Slip light issue many times. So many things can cause it, last time it was my steering wheel column slightly out of alignment, previously it was another sensor. If the code represents something that is not too bad (such as steering wheel column out of alignment), it seems to just turn on the slip and VDC off lights and just disables that system but the car drives normally. If it is a little more severe such as throttle sensor having a glitch or if the pedal position sensor is having a moment, the engine light plus the slip and VDC off lamps all come on and then the car goes into limp mode. This goes away sometimes if the car is turned on and off again. The park brake light might be the clue, I havn't seen that on at the same time as all the other lights.

Personally I have an Uprev flashed ROM on mine so I can plug in my laptop and see straight away what the issues are and clear the codes to temporarily fix the problem.

  4. Hi Guys,

I am looking at upgrading my brakes all around on my V35 Couple (2006) and I am tempted by the V36 sport brakes package with the V35 adaptor. The car is mainly daily driving with the odd track day and better brakes would be nice. I dont want brakes that require warming up in the morning though like a lot of those big brake kits seem to.

These guys sell the whole kit for US$1944 + $330 postage = roughly AU$2500

Has anyone tried this setup and happy with it?

It seems like a fairly good price but are there better options locally?

    Thanks.

  5. Millos, nice car - I did the same with the horrible orange indicators - bought them before buying the car in fact.

How good is the cruise control on the wheel! I just got Chris Rogers to install the same on mine too.

Hey guys, just introducing my new car.

I've posted here on the forum and done quite a bit of research before, so now that I've finally taken some pictures of the V, I thought I'd better introduce myself proper.

I picked up the car in late May. It's a silver 2003 coupe AT. Attached you'll find some pics of the car.

The rear of the car was inspired by BLISTC, when I was doing research on the forum about the car, I saw his signature and just felt in love with the way the rear looks without the badges!!!

I've already has a couple of updates to the car via Chris Rogers. A Garmin GPS has been installed with all Australian maps running from the original screen.

Cruise Control and Radio controls on steering wheel also installed.

HDTV tuner for Australian TV installed.

Changed the orange indicators for the clear ones "Group buy" :)

    To be installed:

Plenum Spacer "Group buy also" :)

Grounding Kit "Group buy also"

  6. Hey Guys,

I have just imported a Silver 06 V35 5AT with 12k on the clock. I should see it this week and I have new rims, and clear indicators and double din console replacement part sitting in lounge room waiting to go on. It should be an interesting change from my previous R33 GTR.

When I get it I hope to get it lowered a bit, add cruise control and hopefully put a supercharger in (if the auto transmission can handle it).
