  1. Reposting this on behalf of my mate :)

For sale: Up for sale again is my daily driven,1986 RX7 GT-Limited (import.).

Item Condition: Pretty good for its age, few minor dings here and there, parts of bodykit and other miscalaneous bodywork needs some TLC and paint. Interior is hit and miss decent, few suspect broken vents, crack idiot cluster cover. broken antenna etc. Shouldn't cost much to repair these.

Car is modified, 170,000km on chassis, motor is from different car with unknown km's but has extend port and rebuilt around 11,000 km ago by MRE. Had compression test by MRE not long ago and which turned out still strong. Also, just serviced by REVS recently less than 50km ago. Other mods are, microtech ecu, FMIC and custom piping, 1000cc secondaries, walbro pump, extreme clutch, custom intake pipe, S5 turbo, K&N air filter, GFB bov, kakamoto exhaust, hi-flow cat, oil catch can, LED stepper motor gauges (oil pressure, boost, water temp.), GP full bodykit, RE-Amemiya bullet type aero mirrors, momo wheel, 17" rallyart rims, mp3 stereo, amp and sub. Car is running on a safe 12psi and estimated around 180-190rwkw. Had the car daily for around 7 months and didnt break down on me besides a broken sprigot bearing but that has been since replaced. Car is also fairly loud and may need a silencer.

Price and price conditions: Had it up before for I think around $8500 with less mods but I'm looking for about the same price or a reasonable offer. Has alot more stuff done since so my loss is your gain. Would make a good street or project car.

  2. Std Subaru Sti injectors are 550cc @3bar (they are pink) they will drop straight in. This is an OEM part - so really really good spray pattern and low frequency control. There are a few companies that high flow them to 650cc @3bar which I've used on a couple of WRX's and they were very nice to tune on the factory ECU.

PS the EV6(xr6 turbo injector style) and EV14(LS2) are 14mm compared to the 11mm denso parts used in the subarus and other denso based ECU's.

PPS 550cc injectors should support around 330-340rwkw.

Great news! ... But don't the Sti Injectors cost alot more? Can't remember what my WRX mate paid for his.. but it was quite alot, and that was just for four! lol

  3. SQL Server db admin here.. in 2005 there's visual studio, but you can still write in t-sql which is preferable. Had to do a oracle to sqlsrv migration recently, and that was a pain in the ass. But i'm sure you'll be fine as you sound pretty experienced in oracle.. and yep sqlserver just another rdbms.

  4. The wiring issue I had was where the +ive wire met the pcb. A slight tug and it came loose, and there was no way I could solder it back on because there was no access without cracking the covers open. I called up the supplier and he replaced it no worries.... no such problem with the second set thankfully.

You probably could tint the centres amber, can't see an issue there. If only nismo led's were cheaper hey?

btw, they really do look awesome at night though.

  5. First set of EB lenses I had, had a wiring problem. I tried to get it open to fix one of the solder joints on, but failed to see how it could come apart. They glue it on (pretty hard too) from factory... I think you'll need to cut it out unfortunately.

Plastic weld will mean a cleaner look, you could glue it too I suppose.

  6. Yep you could do that. It'd involve lots and lots of plastic welding though. and you'd basically destroy your stock lense in the process. I actually considered doing this, but didn't like the idea of not being able to go back to stock. If you've got a spare one around from ebay, then give it a go.. I reckon it'd look tops.

  7. really luv the car nice and clean and the gtr wheels suit it so well!!! i want sum but no1 is selling

Thanks mate! That's quite an old photo from when I first bought the 34. It's changed a bit since then.
