I have an a31 cefiro with an rb20e engine in it. It idles perfectly fine but when driving it will cut out/backfire around 2500-3000 revs but will go past that with light throttle. I initally suspected AFM so i replaced that but to no avail. I am now thinking distributor cap or throttle position sensor, but as it idles fine and revs with no hesitation i am not sure. Any ideas?

I have an rb25det s2 engine that I have wired up using my r32 rb25de loom. I wired up the coils, injectors and tps with no troubles, and the car starts up and runs on all 6. Only problem I have is that when the AFM is connected it runs poorly, barely idles and when i try and rev it, it just spits/backfires. But when AFM is unplugged it will idle and rev without hesitation but not past 2500rpm (limp mode). The afm plug on the loom was originally 4 wires but the rb25 s2 afm plug is 3 wires. I followed the afm pinout on webbers rb guide to wire the plug correctly. Any help or tips would be appreciated!

Yup but no licence to get my car there lol. Have also changed ignitor pack aswell. Cant figure it out

Hey guys Im new to this forum but thought id see if anyone here could figure out whats wrong with my motor. Every now and then the motor seems to be dropping off 2 cylinders and idles very rough. Have replaced spark plugs, injectors and replaced coil packs with waste spark setup, have also replaced fuel pump. Most of the time it runs mint but every now and again it will start to idle rough almost like its on 4 cyls, and gradually picks back up again after a minute or two. Any ideas??
