  1. I've got just a single plate NPC clutch that was supposed to be good for over 600hp, was slipping on the dyno around high 400's.

Current tune is around 420hp and haven't had any real issues but was disappointed with it slipping because it's the only thing holding me back from an e85 tune. Only went with them because people seemed to have no issues but I was let down.

I avoided getting the 10 inch rear because I wasn't comfortable risking having to roll my guards so I got a square setup of 18x9 +30 and put an extra 5mm slip on hub centric spacer on the rear

I reckon it needs just about 2mm more on the rear to be perfect

My tyres are square too at 245/40/18

Hopefully one of these pictures gives you an idea of fitment

    That helps heaps man thanks.

Putting it in a offset calculator going from 9+30 to 10+38: The wheel will extend (poke) out 5mm more. So that should put me into the same fitment as yours with the spacers. That decides it all for me.

    18x9+30 Fronts

    18x10+38 Rear

245/40/18 for the fronts and I guess I'll run like a 260 something on the rear.

Nice car as well. Like the look of more meat on the tyres opposed to the crazy stretch lots of people are rolling

I used the offset calculator and it says that with the 18x9 +30 wheels the clearance from the strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 5mm less, and the outside edge of the wheel will extend an extra 21mm.

I bought the wheels from JDM Concept's website

Yeah that would be going from your original wheels, from the 10+38 to 9+30 youll get 21mm MORE clearance and will RETRACT 5mm toward the body.

go to the last page you can see a yellow skyline running the front 9+30 and rear 10+38 from JDM Concept.

What colour / style are they because I'm actually looking at getting some through them later this year..

Agreed but I believe it is a fairly safe size if you want to mount fat tyres

the white r34 is probably running spacers.

to get that flush finish with some tyre stretch it’s best to use a 9.5 wide wheel with +15-20 offset. You can make a 235 stretch nicely and still fit a 255 at the back. Seems to be a fairly common size amongst most brands

Cheers, wanting as flush as possible but dont want to draw attention with them sitting outside the guards. Just went through 6 months of defect/engineering because the last wheels were too phat haha.

they were 9.5+15 all round and had 235's on them.

Making ~305kw at the wheels so want some rubber on the back but doesn't have to be crazy.

  5. Hi Guys,

Long time lurker over the years, originally had a non-turbo R33 then bought the R34 back in 2015. Lasted a year before I did all the engine work lol.

Recently been put through the wringer the last 6 months after getting defected but she is finally back on the road fully engineered!

Looking forward to getting more involved now the passion is back.
