    WTB - AFM for R33 NA (RB25DE)

    i know this isn't the For Sale thread but i haven't had much luck and thought this would be the best place to ask around.

    Had my R33 serviced a while ago and somehow my AFM was swapped for a turbo AFM, i didn't notice at the time as the ECU manages everything so i don't need the AFM to be connected for the car to run.

    i do however have an annoying issue with the running of my car and to get it diagnosed correctly i need to get hold of an AFM for an RB25DE R33.

    if anyone has was spare to sell or swap etc please PM me

    Nope, still going ahead, sorry for the lack of update, but we're currently making bike parts. We have also bought an R33 rear boot lid, and will start building that up soon, make a mould and make sure things work, and other things like finalising brand name and logo's and that.

    Other than that people have been busy with their day jobs/ exams.. but dont worry we're still going ahead :D

    Interesting.  

    But I've come to accept the fact that I have an import, and regardless of even having any mods, it's a yellow sticker target. Such is life, yep it sucks. But whatya gonna do :)

    don't bend over for one, if you back down and accept everything then it becomes totalitarianism!

    come on Kym, do it for the ladies :D

    you using copic markers for that?

    i've been working on some stuff in freehand... comes up quite well but takes a while, thinking of doing pics of peoples cars/requests etc.

    can look very professional, bit like concept artwork for cars etc

    anyhoo, looks good :( colours are a bit murky though, that may just be the scanning.

    if you are using copic or similar ink markers, and if you haven't already, don't be afraid to pull them apart and use them as brushes, come up much smoother :D

    hmm cheers impul, yes seems to be a bit of bullying going on and i lose respect for these 'police' daily...

    after my family saw my yellow sticker my stepfather (who is one of those council crusader types hehe) ended up calling the police stations to find out why they were allowed to check my tint at night when nobody could get the same reading - i saw a reading of 1000, the female cops saw 75 and the male cop told me it was 14.5... quite a difference.

    my tint has been ripped off now and i was informed by the senior constable my stepfahter spoke with that there is no record whatsoever of them giving me a defect notice.

    i'm not sure how the cops these days are on their paperwork but i begin to suspect a lot of these stickers that are given out in these incorrect circumstances may not be processed officially, of course we wouldn't know and would still pay out our time and money for the hassle of 'complying' our vehicles...

    well just got the tint removed, looks crap now :) feel... so ... exposed hehe

    the tint a car guy told me they aren't allowed to check tint at night (i was checked at 11.50pm) and that i could have refused the yellow, no doubt they would have tried something else to get me for.

    he also told me that my pod filter is not legal without a heat shield???

    it is an Apexi type, braced to the chassis with the correct bracket.

    can anyone clarify? can i just get a permit for it when it goes over the pits?

    ok here's the easy-to-understand steps of taking your car to the pits (welshpool, cos that's where i went)

    hehe cheers, so will they check EVERYTHING even if the ticket says to just check my tint?

    i don't want to have any more hassle about god knows what.

    But who's attitude.  I am not disagreeing with you, sometimes its the driver, sometimes its the cop.

    Not pointing the fingure at anyone here, but I do believe, more often than not, its the driver

    mm i got a yellow sticker for my tint on saturday night, i was very polite to both cops, even had a chat about the club i was parked in front of etc and other things, they then checked my tint (which is 15 instead of 35) and it gave a reading of 14.5 so i have to get it redone and go over the pits.

    do i have to book it or is it a wait in line thing? anyone able to tell me how much it will cost me to get it checked, i was going to get my side windows changed to 35 at a tinting shop. how do they check the tint at the pits? same way the cops do? with those little light meter things?

    you do as they say "ALWAYS receive your parts" but they do take a bloody long time about it, seems quite unneccesary to me but ah well.

    they are ok though, from experience but not to good on the communications side of things.

    Hey,

    It's a Magnaflow muffler. The whole system was pretty cheap for a 3" turbo back exhaust.

    whats the sound like?

    i have a single 3.5" cannon-type magnaflow on my NA R33 atm but would prefer dual twin tip exhausts like yours. how much for the full system?

    Just drove past a dark blue Commodore wagon on the side of the road with a little flash/floodlight looking thing hanging off the front bumper, no sign, no big ass box with legs, nothing.

    So we finally have them in WA, saw them over east last year, they get your rear plate as u go by. :ghost:  

    Sorry the photo i took didnt come out, had to steer and all and it just got out of hand.

    Hey i thought this deserved a thread, bit of a heads up for all the ppl who like to do 63 in a 60 zone.

    guess where the revenue has gone, i'll bet those commodores have dvd screen and full systems etc :P

    work fulltime as a graphic/multimedia designer for a corporate design firm based in Subiaco.

    do a bit of freelance on the side, mostly logos, ads, rave/club flyers and websites.

    and when i have time i work on my own 3d/illustration stuff.

    i also like long walks by the river and cats.
