  5. I can understand on the front but not sure why you wouldn’t want to go bigger on the rear. If you don’t have traction problems then there is no need you will just place more stress on the drive train but I’m sure more of us have traction problems
  6. My car has been tuned with Mobil 8000 by Ben at Race Pace and when I use Optimax it pops a lot on boost and does ping So I don’t use that crap!
  7. I use to live closer to the city in Melbourne, shit I couldn’t drive to the shopping center without getting pulled over. Some how I never really got detected even with a monster tacho on the dash but I got a heap of P plate fines even with both P plates correctly displayed!!!!
  8. I was under the impression that you shouldn’t really drive them until the temp gauge is near halfway “optimum temp”. For all those guys making over 200rwkw’s I though it would be best to leave the car idle for at least 5mins before driving. I find that if I am in a hurry the car runs fine if I give it minimum throttle and stay under 2000 RPM’s.
  9. Can I come as well I have a white Skyline LOL
  10. Mobil 8000 is the Shit!!!
  11. I read up to this post made by Dent ... anyway he is talking about my car here. I have crappy 255/17 Federals on the rear and I dont loose any traction kicking it off the line at 4000 RPMs. I have a mechanical diff and I think this makes all the difference. Apart from this Dents car is better equipped suspension wise. I also think is has a lot to do with the way you launch the car, releasing the clutch and so on!
  12. I maybe onto something but I recon there might just be a 24/7 raid on IMPORTS!!??!!? Dunno about you guys but I have noticed this over the last two years that I have owned one.
  13. Okay fair enough, I will find out on Monday when I go price hunting Just doing a little extra research before hand. By the way are you guys quoting for just the front disks or all round? Uniqueautosports is asking $795.00 Per Pair of R33 GTR DBA 4000 Series Front Brake Rotors. http://www.uniqueautosports.com/pricelists...%20steering.htm
  14. Okay I am getting a little confused, not the first time mind you Are the DBA Longlife Series and DBA 4000 Club-Spec Series the same thing or two separate rotors?
  15. Thanx, any idea about how much a set of DBA Longlife Slotted Rotors would cost?
  16. Thanx for the info, I remember seeing the DBA disks in an import mag a while back, I was trying to find the mag I cant find any prices online, but they are available from pretty much anywhere; Autobarn, Bursons, Repco, Supercheap and so on! My last set of pads were Bendix and they did the job well. They also do not cost much which I am sure you are aware of. Anyway thanx again for the info mate!
  17. Basic question really, for my 1995 GTSt I need a new set of discs and pads. Does anyone know how much it will cost to replace all the discs with new items? Basically I have been told this will cost around $1K, for that price I might as well go all out and buy a second hand set of Brembos. Any advice?
  18. HAHA, was pretty good but being a passenger is frustrating Ahh well I was in a GTR (quickest car there ) so it was okay
