I've got myself an auto gt4, i want to put a manual into it, question is, how do i do such a thing? im assuming that ill need a manual from a 4wd version, new ecu perhaps and drive shaft, clutch, fly wheel.. what else is needed, what gear box exactly and anything else people can think of? I've had a flick throughh the forums and cant find anything i need apart from on gt's and gtt's. would the conversion be similar to one performed on a gtr? would a stagea manual work?

seems pretty dumb in my eyes that people would willingly tell people it will work when it wont, the questions on this forum are asked because the person has a lack of knowledge, so instead of being a bit of a "keyboard warrior" why not be mature about it and let them know the truth...

at this stage, i think ill buy a gts4 r32, only low powered, can learn to deal wih boost and driving an awd car, pray to god i dont crash it and then maybe just find a rb26 and convert it, or just spend the money on a gtr, but to me, i dont see the extra worth in buying a gtr over the gts seeing as it gives you attesa anyway... Always loved skylines but only just learning the modification side, sorry if i sound like a noob.

so what youre saying is that even say, an rb20 out of the gts4 will not fit directly onto the 26 gearbox?

Im 19 and on my p plates in queensland which means i cant drive the gtr, but i want to buy one and do an engine conversion, rb20/25/30, can run a turbo if its under 125kw/tonne. Which engine will fit straight onto the 26's gearbox (changing bellhousing perhaps) or if i have to change it to rwd then what engine and gearbox combo will fit in easily, as in no need to do any mounting mods? its worth mentioning i want to put the 26tt back into the car when i hit my opens.. any help would be appreciated.
