Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't twin 2" roughly 6.282" area compared to a single 3" being around 4.7115"?

I test drove a standard GTIR one day from a car yard and was very disappointed with it. There was a complete lack of power in it, but it could be due to the fact that it was a dodgy car dealer that has been known to sell stuffed cars. Having said that I have seen some very quick ones around once they have been modded, but have also left quite a few for dead in both my Skyline and my old Integra, mainly once moving though. Took one from a standing start in the skyline and once into second started pulling away easy. CAr does have mods though and according to my (I think inaccurate) dyno reading 238.5rwkw.

'98 GTS25T, Intake, 3.5" Tanabe exhaust, FMIC running at 0.6 bar.
Disclaimer. Not too sure if this reading is accurate when comparing ratio of 4.310 on mine whereas Lith has 4.100, but using speed vs revs it seems about right for my car.

I noticed the same problem when I got my exhaust fixed. It's a full 3.5" setup and the front pipe had a big dent in it. When I took this dent out and removed the cat on stock boost it was maxing at about 0.8 bar. On saturday it was real cold and was maxing at about 0.9 bar, so the car had bugger all power from 5000rpm upwards as it was hitting the boost cut.

Bah you don't need a compressor. You just leave the strut attached at the top and jack the strut back in to place with the spring in it. Works like a charm.

The other day I had a big dent removed from my front pipe, and the cat taken out. Before you say anything I'm in New Zealand where the cat is not an issue. Before I had this done on standard boost it was running about 0.6 bar. Now that I have had everything fixed up it's now running 0.8 bar. The only mods I have that will add anything are Apexi filter, FMIC and 3.5" exhaust, and this seems awfully high, just wondering what other people are running on standard with these mods?

I put mine above it. That way it's not taking up a chunk of the air dam for the intercooler too.

I think the main reason there aren't as many of them that are getting modded is because it's such a bastard as there is crap all room to work with.

I decided that because I am useless at saving money I was better to borrow money and have to use my earnings for something I want, rather than blow a few hundred dollars a week on absolutely nothing.

The thing that made me choose the 33 over the 34 was that for the price I was paying I would get a bone standard 34 that had done about 170,000km, whereas I was able to get a '98 33 that had done less km's and already had a lot of mods done.

Had a motorbike try and overtake me on the outside while I was pulling a U-turn in my integra. Whole quarter panel was stuffed, but a new one was only $200.

I've only ever seen 2 40th anniversary models and they were both white.

The Series 2 also has Variable Valve Timing.

Soory about the poor picture quality but our camera at work is poo. First pick is the Steering wheel. I'm pretty damn sure it's standard as it also has Nissan embossed in it. Second pic is the stiched badge on the seat, and thrid is the badge on the rear quarter panel. Chassis Number is ECR33 134519.

Soory to rob the thread but are all RB25DET's supposed to have this box for the ignitor? Mine has nothing there except a little loom plug. '98 GTS25T

The Iridiums I took out of my car were absolutely useless. They were a Greddy (NGK) T7340-7 gapped at 1.1mm and the car detonated to hell. Changed them for the el cheapo NGK coppers and no more problems. Used a BCPR6ES with a 0.8mm gap.

Chances are the police lost all their paperwork anyway, so it won't even be in their system. I've had them conveniently do it, when they tried to send me to court for not breaking the law.

They've just changed it so they can impound your car, but you have to have over $1500 worth of fines or something before they will do it.

There is only about maybe 10 minutes all up of his story that goes through the movie.

Overboost is by far the best one they have done yet, even though it still does have some of the usual cheesy crap in it. But it does have them in cars from top Japanese tuners such as: Stillway, HKS, Veilside and Signal.
