  5. champion. im guessing the original bolt x thread pitch was a 10x 1.25 or 10x 1.5. will take out one bolt from the left side and double check the thread, get the same thread in a 12mm tap and drill away. cheers
  6. i swapped in a neo 25 t. 1 i used reducers. 2 no problem. 3 not running ac 4. i used the 25 main loom and 20 side loom and custom wired it. pce
  7. Dropped the box and found 2 helicoils in the crossmember right hand side threads. i dont think i can just run the original size tap through because some has helicoiled it. The crossmember has rubber bushes which the bolts fits through, so i was thinking drill the threads out to the next size and re thread and then just drill the bushes out to the same size? would this work.
  8. Over the last year i have been doing an awd rb25 neo conversion on my R32 gts4, i disconnected the atessa oil line from the back of the transfer case during the conversion, today i attempted to bleed the atessa by cracking the first nipple above the rear diff, oil drips so i nipped it up, turn the key on and disconnected the plug to put the system into bleed mode, cracked the nipple on the transfer, solid stream of oil, let it drain a little and then nipped up, then reconnected the plug and disconnected repeatedly to cycle the pump as advised by the guide i was following, everything seemed ok. Went for the first drive, first thing i noticed the 4wd & ABS light flicked on, steering feels very loose like the wheel wants to turn on its own and major brake pedal fade, there is also a trailing noise. Has anyone experienced faults like this before and anyone know how to bleed this system correctly? I'm hoping its just air in the system and not a mechanical fault causing the light steering and 4wd & ABS light due to P/S & atessa system share the same pump. I am going to nurse the car into work tomorrow and carry out a brake bleed. Any help on any of these issues will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
  9. pump arrived today, hopefully fit it on the weekend, someone told me to put a 1 way valve in? but i don't really see the need. anyone else thinks it will help? i might need to pocket a roll of cable tomorrow at work, so wire from the rely in the fuse box down to the pump, do you route the wires the same as factory? yeah i was thinking gtr pump, but i wanted something brand new and affordable.
  10. just purchased a walbro intank good for 500hp, pretty sure its plug and play, just need to hold it in with a cable tie apparently. jeez why hard wire it?
  11. thanks for the replys, will check those out. mines noisy as atm i heard the bosch pumps are a bitch to install.
  12. i dont trust the 20 year old fuel pump with the life of my new engine, what would be a good upgrade to run a stock rb25det neo with intentions of doing turbo/cam upgrades in the near future.
