  1. Sold. Mods can you remove contact details?
  2. Selling my 1999 R34 GT-T Skyline after 4 awesome years. $18000 ono. This car has super low <63000 kms and is in excellent condition. I've only done about 10000 since I bought it, but they were some good kms. I'm upgrading to a more practical sedan in the very near future and am keen to sell - this is your chance for a super sweet deal. The mods are all tastefully done (by previous owner) as is the ivory leather interior which makes this MUCH nicer to be in than similar spec'd cars of this age. Always gets compliments. Serviced at C-Red since I bought it, including last month. Has 4 new tyres and alignment. Manual transmission. Mods include: - Front mount intercooler - Exhaust - NISTUNE - HKS EVC-S Boost Controller - Leather interior - Low, firm suspension - After market rims - Viper Alarm system - Pod filter - Sony MP3 player with USB - Fire extinguishers Some original suspension and parts from previous owner come with if you want them. Contact tam @ graduate.uwa.edu.au / 0402 022 826 Leederville area WA Not willing to ship interstate cheers, Tam
  3. Always cool to come back to the car park and find a twin parked in the next stop. Red R34 GTT next to my white, in the Waldecks car park of all places. You did not seem as into gardening, though.
  4. I ended up getting it fixed at West Perth Panel and Paint, because it is near by my work. I just popped in there and they offered to do it that day. They did a tidy job re-attaching the skirt and polishing out the scrape and I am happy with their service. I had another small scratch on the skirt they brush touched, though I was thinking it could have done with some sort of filler first (since the paint layers removed are still obvious). However, I do expect to get a few more of those kind of scratches - the nature of track days - so I am not too concerned. Thanks for the recommendation Stagea_wa - I will keep a note about Manny's in case I ever need some help again (hopefully not, of course!)
  5. I recently had a family friend nudge my front bumper and damage the skirt on my R34 GTT >:| So heart breaking. Anyway, thankfully I think it can be reasonably easily re-attached (one of the mounting points is broken) and patched up (minor scrapes only). Can anyone recommend a repair shop that would do a small job like this? I know there is the business listing thread but it seems a lot of places are no longer around, and also I'd like to take it where others have had a good job done and good service. Any suggestions appreciated! Will take it anywhere in Perth that does a good job.
  6. last Friday (21-9) saw gunmetal grey R32 heading north on the fwy after work around Vincent St... I thought I saw some A4 papers blow out of your open window??!!
  7. Had a nice cruise out to Toodyay on the weekend, out via Toodyay road, back roads (not sure which) to Northam, was good. Back to Perth via Great Eastern was boring though, might want to detour through York if you have time. Perth-Toodyay-Northam-Perth was ~250kms.
  8. black 34 going east on St Georges this morning. yellow 34 with P plates and a rear window full of toys in Leederville. anyone have an idea how many Skylines are actually in Perth?
  9. No, thanks for the tip. Still awaiting a reply/callback from their web form.
  10. Hey all, New to the forums and to Skylines, just going through the motions of buying my first Skyline, an R34 GTT ^_^ Name: Tam Age: 31 Drive: 500SEL, soon to add R34 GTT =) Work: Electronic/software engineer Cruise/events: Interested Music: Industrial Look forward to getting into my new ride and taking advantage of the info on these forums, been really helpful so far (buying, getting it checked out, insurance etc).
  11. Hey all, Just about to buy my first Skyline (yipee an R34 GTT) but having serious headaches trying to find insurance. It really seems as though the driver has little to do with the availability of insurance! So far I have tried RAC/HBF/AAMI: No cover for imports. Shannons: No cover if not garaged (I have a gated carport). Suncorp: Don't have 99 R34 GTT listed so can't insure. They list the 99 GT and GT-R, and 98 GTT, though. Just Cars: They want $1582 p/a! This was on-line, thinking of calling up to see what they can do. $22K agreed, $450 excess. Edit: SGIO(NRMA): $1008 to $1574 dep on market ($7K) vs agreed value (max $10K) and $550 vs $300 excess. I'm 31 with no driving or insurance record. Seems crazy to me. Any advice appreciated!
